In Memoriam - Simon Wiesenthal
Simon Wiesenthal, savjest holokausta kako su ga opisivali preminuo je jučer u Beču u dubokoj starosti.Čovjek koji je preživio 12 konc logora 2 svj. rata, čovjek kojem su nacisti pobili 98 članova obitelji posvetio je svoj život lovu na nacističke zločince diljem svijeta. Najpoznatije uhićenje mu je uhićenje Rudolpha Eichmanna čovjek koji je osmislio istrebljenje Židova i svih ostalih "nearijaca" iz Trećeg Reicha.
Čovjek koji nije ustuknu ni pred kim u svojoj misiji pravde i suđenja zločincima. Čovjek koji se usprotivio i Vatikanu koji je skrivao te iste zločince koji su istrijebili 4-6 miliona Židova u Europi.
Kao njegova najveća ostavština ostaje Centar "Simon Wiesenthal" koji je cijeli posvećen istraživanju holokausta i njegovih vinovnika.
Kod nas je poznat posebno po tome što je otkrio da se u Argentini nalazi bivši upravitelj konc logora Jasenovac Dinko Šakić koji je potom izručen Hrvatskoj gdje je osuđen za genocid protiv čovječnosti.
