Umorna duša
Dođi, pruži mi ruku i uzmi moju,
moju koja treba toliko nježnosti
za koju zna da joj ti možeš pružiti.
Dođi, molim te!
Duša je moja već umorna od preranog
svitanja sunca koje za nju više ne grije,
ona osjeća samo hladnoću koju samo
nečija topla ruka može otjerati.
Nemoj dopustiti da plovim na valovima
beskraja, tražeći i nadajući se barem
kratkom predahu, kada ću moći zaklopiti
svoje oči; zagrliti svoju umornu dušu.
Dođi, molim te i ne govori ništa jer niti
jedna riječ neće biti dostatna. Samo moja
mala hladna ruka u tvojoj toploj, dovoljno
velikoj da ukloni hladnoću i strah koju osjeća
moja umorna duša.
Dođi i spasi me jer ja te još uvijek čekam,
nadajući se da ćeš me prepoznati u moru
lica u kojem se nalaziš.
Isplivaj i ugledaj me, jer tu stojim!
Tvoje srce će znati gdje.
