#BLOGERSKI MANIFEST - Salji dalje

1. Ako ste vlasnici, vodite računa o svom vlasništvu i onima koji tom vlasništvu daju vrijednost i smisao, jer svaki bloger uvećava vašu imovinu i vašu dobit.

2. Kada želiš nešto, dovoljno je da to i zatražiš, želimo da se to primijeni i na blogere. Mi smo oni koji stvaraju blogosferu! Mi radimo za vas bez plaće, budite barem fer!

3. Kada postavimo neko pitanje, želimo na njega čuti i odgovor. Ne želimo vikati u gluhu tišinu.

4. Kada zamolimo informaciju, želimo je i dobiti Kod nas nema nekih skrivenih poruka niti predbacivanja. Ako tražimo pomoć, onda je i trebamo, a svojim radom je i zaslužujemo.

5. Dosta nam je jednosmjerne komunikacije s adminima. Budite barem toliko pristojni da odgovorite na postavljeno pitanje!

6. Mi smo jedina besplatna radna snaga.Bar ponekad ne mislite samo na sebe. To nije ništa strašno. Molim vas da se naviknete na to da na pitanja treba odgovoriti, to je stvar osobne kulture, čak i u virtualnom svijetu.

7. Ako blogeri pišu svaki dan, nađite i vi vremena za oodgovore na njihova pitanja.

8. Nema nikakvog zadovoljstva u tome da te ignorira netko tko živi od tebe. Predlažem štrajk u pisanju blogova na tri dana.

9. Kad postavljamo pitanja, ne radimo to samo zato da vas gnjavimo.

10. Imate dovoljno koristi od našeg pisanja, nemojte nas tjerati da molimo. Nemojte ignoriranjem sami sebe dovoditi do financijske propasti, jer naš rad nije nikakav dokaz naše ljubavi prema vama! Radi se o razmjeni: vi nama prostor, mi vama sliku, glazbu i riječi, no ako komunikacija ne bude dvosmjerna, mnogi će odustati, mnogi već jesu.

11. Mnogi imaju i po nekoliko blogova.I bloger zbog kojeg nastaje ovaj manifest ih je imao čak četiri, zar ne zaslužuje pomoć?

12. Jednostavno je odgovoriti na upit. Odgovori poput da ili ne su potpuno dovoljni kod svakog pitanja!

13. Kada imaš problem, prirodno je zamoliti za pomoć i prirodno je očekivati odgovor i rješenje. Ne tražimo sažaljenje nego korektnu suradnju.

14. Frustracija ubija volju za rad, a izostanak odgovora budi revolt i vodi odustajanju i kad su manji problemi u pitanju.

15. U ovom manifestu nema ništa što se može dvojako tumačiti.Bloga bez blogera nema, a bez suradnje blogeri bi mogli odustati.

16. Svi vlasnici vide samo profit! Samo dalekovidni vide i kako ga održati i još uvećavati.

17. Mi blogeri očito volimo pisati i biti čitani, kao što vi volite novac koji ljudska potreba da se izrazi donosi.No, ako vi nas ne razumijete; ne razumijemo ni mi vas!Jednostavna logika.

18. Kada vas nešto pitamo odgovorite!

19. Nemojte nas pitati da li nam se blog sviđa! Kada ne bi bilo tako, većina nas ne bi bila tu gdje jesmo!No, ako želite i da ostanemo tu i privučemo još blogera, potrudite se malo kad zagusti.

20. I na kraju osnovno pravilo: U slučaju najmanje nedoumice, dileme ili sumnje, o čemu god se radilo, ponudite nam najjednostavnije rješenje, odgovorite nam , makar to morao biti i negativan odgovor!!!

#call - man.in.fest, Cluj-Napoca, Romania

man.in.fest will take place between the 19th and 26 October 2008 in Cluj-Napoca (in Transylvania region of Romania), organized by Teatrul Imposibil (The Impossible Theatre) an independent Cultural Association located in Cluj-Napoca.

MAN.In.FEST is an event addressing young people (15-45), artists and public, both from Romania and abroad, interested in new/experimental arts and media, as they are the ones whose new perception needs and social references are served by the experimental artistic field. Also, either as public or as artists they need this kind of collaborative activities in order to have access to different perspectives on the cultural, political and social issues, through art. The participants will be “cultural ambassadors” of their countries, and will have the opportunity to represent their national cultural specificity. In the same time the event will offer them the time and the place to exchange experiences and points of view and to work in unfamiliar media, in order to challenge their creativity and to discover other perspectives, as a result of our across borders intercultural approach

MAN.In.FEST is the first cultural opportunity in Romania that is interested in East-West collaboration in European and world wide experimental theatre and it’s social impact. The main focus is for Romanian artists and public to relate to contemporary breakthroughs in performance arts (implementation of new media and technology, aesthetic tendencies, new artistic languages) by direct contact. They will be able to see many top productions produced by independent companies from abroad and participate to art and media workshops, meetings and debates with/between creators for exchange of experience etc. These activities can fill in the lack of information and contacts, and the need for a stable meeting point for this artistic and social target group, as it can influence Romanian strategies to break it’s cultural isolation in independent artistic field. This intercultural competence and cross-border collaboration activities are also important for our foreign participants, as they have the opportunity to enlarge their competence and their appetite for intercultural artistic and social activities.

The Performance
It is essential for the show to be experimental, non-conventional in form and spirit.
Very particular attention should be made to ensure that the show is easy to understand despite foreign language barriers.
Thus we encourage new technologies and marginal arts, non-verbal and body language, mime works and large use of music and dance.

General Presentation
The selection for the festival is based mainly on the following criteria:
1 . Shows of the highest quality and professionalism;
2 . Shows of the different types of theatre: drama, music, movement, dance, choreography, puppets-marionettes, one-man show, etc. / not to exceed 10 participants;
3 . Companies happy to take part in workshops, meetings and discussions;
4 . Companies happy to work together with the festival organizers to make things possible;

Sundance Institute Theatre Program is open for applications for 2008 Theatre Lab. Playwrights, directors, composers or choreographers may submit applications.

The Theatre Program welcomes applications for projects at any stage of development, but focuses on work that is ready to be explored, at least in part, on its feet. New in 2008, submitted work cannot have been previously produced, but may have received prior workshops. In addition, projects scheduled to receive a production before October 25, 2008, are not eligible.

Playwrights, directors, composers or choreographers may submit applications. Playwright/director teams are encouraged to apply together; however, if you do not have a director attached to your project, please note that Sundance will help to match you up with a director once your play is selected for inclusion in the Lab. Many younger playwrights do not have access to a director and Sundance is positioned to match these artists with an experienced director. In the case of projects that are not strictly text-based (dance/theatre pieces, image-based work), an artistic statement detailing the style and vision of the piece is essential.

Sundance is interested in both established and emerging theatre artists, as well as artists making a transition from areas outside of theatre. We welcome solo performers and projects for young audiences. Participants must be available for the entire length of the Lab. Artists can only submit one application. Previous applicants may re-apply. Contracted commissions or producers do not affect the selection of projects for the Theatre Lab. Applicants can only submit one application each year.

The Sundance Institute prides itself on its family-friendly environment. However, please be aware that the Sundance Resort is on a mountain and presents challenges for families with young children. We strongly encourage families with children under age seven to consider alternative childcare at home during the Lab. A three-day guest policy is in effect for all other adult visitors. PROJECT SELECTION
The Sundance Institute Theatre Lab selects up to eight projects per year. Through open submissions, we consider an estimated 700 projects. Sundance looks for original, compelling, human stories that reflect the independent vision of the theatre artist. We are interested in supporting a diverse and daring group of theatre artists who tell unique stories, present material in a new form, or conceptualize existing material with an innovative directorial vision. We look for writers and collaborators who are interested in genuinely exploring their material. Sundance is more than a place to 'rehearse'; it is an environment that encourages and supports risk-taking, experimentation, and rigorous re-writing and re-imagining.

PROJECT SUPPORT
The Sundance Institute Theatre Lab provides professional actors, dramaturgs, rehearsal space, stage management, round-trip air transportation, accommodations, and meals for the collaborative team working on each project. Each full-time Fellow (playwright, director, other collaborator) receives a $500 honorarium. Actors operate on a Special Agreement with Actors Equity Association during the Theatre Lab.

Sundance Institute was founded by Robert Redford as a way to give back, to support other film and theatre artists by providing them with an opportunity to develop their projects and skills. Sundance proudly does not accept royalties on projects supported by the Theatre Program. Playwrights own their work fully, but are requested to publish Sundance Institute's logo, bio and credit [Title of Project] was developed, in part, with assistance from the Sundance Institute Theatre Program on the title page of all printed materials of future readings, workshops, productions, recordings and publications of their projects, and include a click-back widget on each successive producer's website. International Competition of Nonverbal Theatre promotes the creation of original expression of contemporary theatre, encourages the exchange of ideas among creators from around the world and offers emerging talent a unique opportunity to show their work.

All participants, both choreographers/directors and dancers/actors, should have professional training. There is no age limit. The performance of 12-20 minutes should present up to 5 performers maximum.

The filled and signed application must be returned to the organisers with

- a mandatory 5-10 minute recording of the performance on DVD. Please do not write the name of the piece nor choreographer/director on the DVD. The video recording should feature only the performance to be performed at the contest.

- up to one page resume of the choreographer’s/director’s CV.

A pre-jury of at least three jury members will select the performances to participate in the contest after all videos have been watched.

Competitors are obliged to have no other engagements for the period of c.o.n.t.est. They are required to be available without fees for the rehearsals, press conferences, interviews and television recordings.

If a choreographer/director is a fellow company member of one of the judges, the judge will withhold his vote for the performance in question. The decision of the jury is final.

The choreographers/directors will be responsible for providing their performers, music, decor, etc. at their expense.

#Call for Sound Works

Sound Café 2008 will take place in Jedburgh's Community and Arts Centre on 9 February 2008. The one day event will feature selected works from the Call for Works. In the afternoon a selection of pieces will be played over a headphone installation in the Blue Room. In the evening a selection of stereo and 4-channel sound works will be presented in the Butterfield Gallery.

Sound Café 2008 will focus on phonographic forms which deal with documentary and archive, and which broadly address the disciplines of anthropology and ethnography through the medium of sound.

Sudionici natječaja mogu biti isključivo pravne osobe (registrirane udruge, društva, organizacije) sa sjedištem u Republici Hrvatskoj.

Projekti i aktivnosti koji se ne uklapaju u područje navedeno u natječaju neće se uzimati u obzir.

Sudionik se na natječaj može prijaviti samo za jedan projekt /aktivnost za koju traži donaciju.

Pravila za prijavu na natječaj:
Za sudjelovanje u natječaju potrebno je ispuniti obrazac Prijava koji je objavljen na internetskoj stranici www.fina.hr ili upitom na telefon 01/630 4319, nakon čega će obrazac biti dostavljen e-mailom ili poštom na adresu tražitelja.

Prijava mora sadržavati:
1. podatke o sudioniku (kontakt podatke podnositelja prijave i podatke o udruzi/ društvu /organizaciji tražitelju donacije)

Podaci navedeni u obrascu Prijava moraju biti istiniti i podložni su provjeri. Nepotpune prijave neće se uzimati u obzir.

Uz prijavu se mogu priložiti popratni materijali koji mogu sadržavati najviše 5 stranica A4 formata. Obrazac Prijava uz popratni materijal ne vraća se sudionicima natječaja, stoga Vas molimo da ne šaljete originale popratnih dokumenata.

Rok za podnošenje prijave i rezultati natječaja
Prijave za natječaj mogu se poslati e-mailom ili poštom, a primaju se do 19. 11. 2007. godine. Za prijave poslane e-mailom, rok za slanje je do 23:59 sati, a za prijave poslane poštom, prihvaća se datum poštanskog pečata. Prijave pristigle nakon roka neće se uzimati u obzir.

Banja Luka internacionalni filmski festival – BLIFF jedinstvena je manifestacija u Republici Srpskoj koja će se po prvi put organizovati u maju 2008. godine. Ovaj osmodnevni filmski događaj je zamišljen kao grad-festival koji će svojim mnogobrojnim sadržajima oživjeti ulice i duh grada na Vrbasu. Dok će se u bioskopu smjenjivati takmičarski i revijalni program, a na ulicama i trgovima koncerti, ulični performansi i druge kulturno-zabavne aktivnosti, Banjaluka ce dobiti karnevalsko-festivalski izgled i karakter.
Pozivamo sve zainteresovane pojedince i timove da svoju kreativnost iskažu i zajedno sa nama postave idejno-vizuelni identitet našeg festivala, te na taj način omoguće da BLIFF preraste u prepoznatljiv brend Banjaluke i Republike Srpske.

Da li ste tražili, tražite ili ćete uskoro tražiti posao? Predstavite i prenesite svoja iskustva u vezi traženja posla, svoja znanja, sposobnosti, strah ili entuzijazam sa kojima se pojavljujete na tržištu rada, ili svoju svest da se posao i egzistencija trebaju i moraju svakome obezbediti.

Kao i uvek, KEF otvara mogućnosti diskusije teme sajma kroz radove u svim elektronskim medijima. U obzir dolaze i audio ili video snimci izjava, prepričavanje događaja, lepe želje u vezi sa traženjem posla i zaposlenja.

Imate 30 sekundi!

Svi radovi koji budu odgovorili osnovnim zahtevima konkursa (trajanje do 30 sekundi, elektronska forma, inovativnost, medijska zavodljivost) i poslati do 20. novembra, biće prikazani na izložbi u REX-u od 29. novembra do 1. decembra 2007. godine.

Preporučeni formati za radove su: wav, ogg, mpeg, avi, html, swf, gif . Molimo vas da šaljete radove u ovim formatima da bi što veći deo izložbe bio prikazan u Open Source plejerima ili programima. Sva pitanja u vezi sa formatima možete postaviti mejlom, do 15. novembra (najkasnije pet dana pre isteka roka za slanje radova).

Konkurs je otvoren za sve zainteresovane.

Po završetku izložbe, najuspešnijim učesnicima i učesnicama biće dodaljene sledeće NAGRADE:
- tri nagrade publike

Sajam kratke elektronske forme je izložba radova elektronske umetnosti koji traju ili mogu biti konzumirani u vremenu do trideset sekundi. Od autora se traži da stvaraju unutar vremenskog okvira kojim vlada industrija oglašavanja i masovnih komunikacija.

Kratak video zapis, spoof reklamu, tekstualnu poruku ili slogan, zvućni džingl, radio reklamu, veb baner ili sajt, screen saver, seriju fotografija napravljenu u periodu do 30 sekundi, flash animaciju, 3D animaciju ili bilo koji drugi medijski proizvod, možete predstaviti kao vašu viziju ili kritički osvrt na svet kojim smo okruženi, kao alternativnu zabavu ili vašu potrebu da se snađete u medijskoj džungli. KEF je otvoren ne samo za umetnike nego i za sve konzumente medijske kulture.

#Call - Annual International festival of Experimental film and Video Art, Ontario

Media City is an international festival of experimental film and video art presented annually in Windsor, Ontario, Canada since 1994.

The festival is a co-presentation of Artcite Inc. (Windsor's artist-run centre for the contemporary arts) and House of Toast (Windsor's film and video collective).

Each year Media City screens approximately fifty new films and videos in all gauges and formats in its international competition programs. The festival also hosts retrospective screenings and discussions with featured artists and presents installations in Artcite Inc. and other venues.

Main venue for Media City screenings is the historic Capitol Theatre and Arts Centre in downtown Windsor. Refer HERE for screening schedules and ticket prices. Tickets are available at the door or in advance at the Capitol Theatre box office.

International Short Film Festival KRATKOFIL

The Festival aims to stand internationally as a festival "from filmmakers to filmmakers"- a celebration of cinema, a centre of debate and a catalyst for new films. Of course, audience and region can have some fun too!

The Festival has:
* Competitive program
* Non-competitive programs
* Special programs, debates audience – film crews – film critics – guests

General conditions for film competition program:

* Only films that meet the following conditions will be accepted for selection:
o Films produced after 1st of July 2006;
o Films should not exceed 30 minutes in length;
o Films subtitled in English, unless the dialogue is in English;

* All entries will go through selection, unless a special waiver was granted by the Festival;

* The screening will be made on: 35mm, 16mm, Beta SP, DVCAM and DVD;

Invitation:

Directors whose films have been selected will be invited to attend the festival and provided with accommodation. Travel expenses and accomodation will be covered. Expenses for only one person per film can be covered. The invitation has to be transferred to the other representative of the film group in case if the director is not able to attend.

There is no submission fee!

For entries into competitive section of the Festival, a DVD - together with the entry form, a still from the film, the director’s photo, bio-filmography, a short synopsis and dialogue lists must be sent to the Festival before March 10th, 2008.

The Jury of 5 international members will award the following recognitions:

* 10 special prizes

Društvo ŠKUC – Klub Tiffany poziva avtorje in umetnike, ki bi bili pripravljeni sodelovati v programu Kluba Tiffany na Metelkovi, v letu 2008, da nam pošljejo kratek opis svojega dela in motivacijsko pismo.

Dobrodošli so vsi avtorji in umetniki različnih umetnostnih zvrsti od glasbe, gledališča, performansa, literature, vizualnih in intermedijskih zvrsti.

Zaželeno je da se dela vsebinsko nanašajo na GLBT kulturo, odnose, spol in spolne študije. Vabimo avtorje, ki bi se želeli samostojno ali skupinsko predstaviti v prostorih kluba Tiffany, ter tako obogatiti raznolikost GLBT kulture v Sloveniji.

#The European Diploma in cultural project management

he European Diploma in cultural project management is a pan-European training program arising from the will to foster cultural diversity as well as trans-regional and transnational cultural exchanges. The Hicter Fondation is the organizer and manager of the course.

The objective is threefold:
- to strengthen the knowledge of cultural managers about European, national and regional cultural policies;
- to improve management skills to run cultural co-operation projects;
- to develop a network of European cultural managers.

Who is the training for ?
Cultural managers from public or private organizations who are actively involved in the management of cultural and artistic projects in their region, with at least 3 years experience.
The training languages being French and English, applicants must be fluent in one of these working languages and have a good passive knowledge of the other. The age limit is 45.

Content and Organization
The European Diploma is organized so that the participants carry on with their professionnal activities.
The program lasts one year and is organized in 3 phases : 2 residential sessions, a comparative study and an evaluation/seminar phase.

The residential sessions
Two sessions of a fortnight take place in two different countries each year.
The next training sessions will be organized in Finland in May 2008 and in Cyprus in October 08.

The themes are: Europe and culture; Project Management, Cultural co-operation, Operational management of cultural projects, Fund Raising etc.

Back to the field
Between the residential sessions and the evaluation phase, the trainees return to their jobs and in parallel work on their own project. They also have to do a comparative study visit in another region of Europe.

The evaluation/seminar phase
This one-week phase will take place in June 2009. It includes the presentation of the participants projects and the organization of a thematic seminar.

Financial participation
Each participant or the organization he/she works for will pay a fee of 3.000 Euros.

Montage is looking for your latest dance video for the second montage video dance festival in partnership with FNB Dance Umbrella 2008, in Johannesburg South Africa. Video works should be between 2 and 10 minutes, involve movement, dance, choreography and the moving image made specifically for the screen and should not be filmed live performance, nor documentaries. They may be linear, nonlinear or abstract in narrative. They may include animation or special effects to amplify the intention of the video maker. in relation to emerging creation programme of the International festival of audiovisual programs - FIPA - of Biarritz.

Always attentive with the emergence of new talents, with the new expressions creating by the crossing of the worlds of the cinema, of the video and the emerging creation, mapXXL proposes a tender for applications for the fourth edition of “emerging creation video cinema 2007”.

Whether works of fiction, creative documents, animation, dance videos or video art, all forms of expression are invited to participate in this selection whose mission is to give a comprehensive overview of this trend, created by a young generation of artists participating in the rise of new expressions.

Two selections will be presented, the first one with videos lasting 30 seconds to 12 minutes, the second one with videos lasting 12 to 24 minutes. They must be sent in high definition format in DVD.
