The film begins by reflecting upon that crucial, prophetic work "Brave New World" (1932, Aldous Huxley) and then moves to a further inquiry into the human ramifications of current technological change. The film also recalls the impact of Huxley's LSD-25 and mescaline experimentations and writings for a generation of youth and examines the utopianistic impulses associated with the Rave scene.

The 4th International Animation Festival Animateka will take place in Ljubljana from December 3rd to December 9th, 2007. The festival is co-organised by the Association 2 Reels, the Slovene Cinematheque and Forum Ljubljana. It consists of a competition and special programmes.
2. The competition
There will be an international competition, open to movies realized for the cinema with any animation technique frame by frame or computer graphic. Short animated films (the duration must not exceed 35 minutes of total running time) produced or co-produced in the following countries could apply for the competition programme: Slovenia, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Hungary, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Montenegro, Macedonia, Albania, Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Moldova, Slovak Republic, Czech Republic, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Ukraine.
The movies must have been completed after October 2006, and never been screened at the Animateka Festival.
The Jury is nominated by the Festival organization and will award the following prizes:
- Grand Prix for best Film
- Five Special Distinctions
An Audience Award will be also assigned.
Other eventual awards could be assigned.

The call for participation is now open for the International Live-media Floor of Netmage 08 a festival aimed to explore media innovation within the context of electronic arts that will take place in Bologna from the 24th to the 26th January 2008.
The Live-media Floor is the main section of the Netmage festival program, an international platform to confront practices of generating and/or mixing images and sound of every type and format. A window on cinematic and inter-media aesthetics that change form year by year.
Participation is open to projects that employ electronic, electroacoustic, analogue and cinematic means to produce visuals and sound.
The projects selected will be performed in a single event space, single or multi-screen, for a duration of about 20 minutes each.

Selection committee, according to the Festival concept, does the selection of applied films and videos for competition and other programs.
The Jury of the Festival consists of the theorists and authors of alternative film and video. The Jury establishes the List of the significant achievements of the Festival, which can consist of ten, works most. The Jury considers films and videos equally. The Jury works during the Festival.
The award to the authors of the films and videos selected to the List of significant achievements is the program of production of new film or video in Academic Film Center of SCCC, with the ability of the use of all technical and logistic support of AFC, accommodation and restaurant service in Students' City in Belgrade for a month of the following year.
DVD ALTERNATIVE 2007 Works selected for the List of significant achievements will be on the noncommercial DVD edition ALTERNATIVE 2007.
ALTERNATIVE FILM/VIDEO archive keeps films and videos, and all the documentation of the Festival.
Participating on the Festival, author accepts that his work is archived and used in research work in the Archive, presentations of the Festival and noncommercial screenings in Alternative cinema of SCCC.
Author accepts that VHS, SVHS, DVD or mini DV stays in the Archive. Author accepts that an insert from his film or video, long 30 second most, can be broadcasted in Festival presentation in media.

TIRANA INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL is the first and the only international cinema festival in Albania created in 2003.
TIFF is the member of the European Coordination of Film Festivals (ECFF), consequently, TIFF aims to respect the Code of Ethics deriving from ECFF. This extraordinary event for Albania takes place under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture Youth and Sports and Tirana City-Hall.
The competition program combines short films of all formats and categories, alternated between them, in order to make it more eclectic and exciting. Tirana International Film Festival is open to well-known artists as well as students, representatives of all schools, contemporary, independent and alternative cinema from throughout the world.
Part of the Festival is also a special program which includes all forms of film production - feature, documentaries and animated films more than 30' length.
A particular interest is shown in retrospectives of different authors or countries.
TIFF reserves an important space to the seminars and workshops, which prove necessary for the Albanian filmmakers and young artists. The free of charge newspaper of TIFF, published both in Albanian and English, will enable a daily briefing with the latest news over the Festival through interviews, photos and programs, as well as will offer hints on the artistic life of the capital of Albania.
An international jury will evaluate over 100 shorts, latest international and Albanian productions, that in the last night will announce the winners’ awards and prizes in a gala ceremony broadcast live in TV.
Albania is a solar, enthusiastic and friendly country and besides the “strong competition” TIFF aims at the same time to be a meeting point of cultures, where people of Tirana, the guests and all those who love the short film will have a cinema-language-communication week.
"Think Different, See Alike" is the slogan and motto of TIFF.
Awards & Prizes - Over 20,000 Euro in cash and prizes is awarded to winners.
Awards will be offered in each category as well as Best Film of TIFF '04, Best Albanian Short, Public and Media Award with additional awards to be announced in the lead up to the Festival. Every prize is accompanied with the Festival cup, an art piece in bronze, by an Albanian well-known artist.
TIFF offers full board accommodation to the director or producer representing the selected film during seven days of the Festival. Other guests will be provided with facilities for accommodation and tariffs.
Entries are invited in competition all formats of films, video and digital in the following categories of short film:
Fiction, Animation, Documentary, Experimental.

#Punto De Vista – dokumentarni filmski festival 2008 (Pamplona, Navarra / Spain)
Punto De Vista – dokumentarni filmski festival organizira se od 15. do 23. veljače 2008. u Navarri, Španjolska. Prijave za sudjelovanje primaju se do 30. rujna. Sudjelovanje je besplatno.
Punto De Vista otvoren je redateljima svih nacionalnosti, a uvjet za sudjelovanje je da je film nastao nakon 1. kolovoza 2006. Primaju se sve nefikcijske audiovizualne forme, kao što su autorski dokumentarci, dokumentarci kreacije, eksperimentalni eseji, filmski dnevnici ili radovi nastali korištenjem doma, siročadi ili recikliranih materijala.
Tema, jezik ni duljina trajanja nisu zadani. Ako film nije snimljen na engleskom, španjolskom ili baskijskom jeziku, projicirat će se s engleskim titlovima. Ne primaju se filmovi koji su se prethodno prikazivali u španjolskim komercijalnim kinima ili na tv kanalima.
Za sudjelovanje potrebno je poslati film u dvd formatu, ako film prođe selekciju, potrebno je priložiti sljedeće formate: Betacam Sp, Digital Betacam ili 35 mm
Punto De Vista (na španjolskom znači gledište) nastoji okupiti dokumentariste koji na slobodan i eksperimentalni način istražuju mogućnost filmskog bilježenja vremena te koji, prema J. Virgu, 'otvaraju naš pogled kako bismo vidjeli izvan očiglednog'.
Program se sastoji od dva dijela:
1. službeni natjecateljski dio – za dugometražne i kratke filmove
2. 'Festival festivala' (nenatjecateljski dio) – međunarodne projekcije dokumentaraca nagrađivanih na svjetskim festivalima ili natjecanjima u prethodnoj godini (filmovi se primaju na temelju poziva organizatora)
Uz navedene programe, Festival nudi retrospektive i posebne programe te brojna druženja.

International festival of audio-visual arts VIDEOLOGIA is one the major art events in the sphere of independent short cinema and video in Russia. It integrates selection program of the best entries with curatorial screenings, master classes of jury members, exhibitions, art theory forums and musical performances. VIDEOLOGIA takes place every year in Volgograd (Russia), the forth festival will start on November 8, 2007.
Films of different kinds are welcome to participate: from video art and experimental cinema to documentaries and animation. The only equivalent that unites works of different genres, styles and techniques, from different continents and generations is the annually changing concept of the festival. Curators of VIDEOLOGIA 2006 are now happy to call for submissions to its 2007 selection program!
Conceptual pattern of VIDEOLOGIA 2007 is [ZOOMING HISTORIES].
We detail imagery and distance ourselves from it, we alternate close ups with long panoramic shots, we by turns concentrate on one sound and on their multitude. Doing so we zoom the visual and the audible course of events, grasp different scopes of the narratives that record them in figurative forms or, on the contrary, we refuse fixating on any representative figures. VIDEOLOGIA 2007 is interested in the shuttle type of senses movement between personal stories of authors and episodes of multidirectional social history.
How does a person orient oneself moving in personal scenes and global historical events simultaneously? On what basis do we utopically equate individual life episodes to planetary tendencies in the development of culture? Why, rejecting figurative narrations, abstract art is capable of seizing key features of certain historical epochs? By means of what are we able to construct borders between private and public myths? How does a person become involved in one certain type of scenarios and gets distanced from a different type of stories, and to what degree do we possess freedom to perform such a choice? Which variants of future processes are being rehearsed during inconspicuous contemporary incidents and occurrences? All these questions can be accentuated by audio-visual art with a special power, because its kinetics and dynamics allow it to zoom its approach to any situation.
Topics that underline the concept of VIDEOLOGIA 2007 extend from geopolitical to media-ontological:
-Intersection of an artist or a directors work with such historical events as war, revolution, construction and removal of borders, merging of cultures and nations, collapse and restoration of empires;
-Zooming territories, change of scales by means of traveling: critical overview of personal expectations and prejudices during visits to a place, which used to be a screen for projection or an origin of individual myths;
-Criteria for framing the reality in a certain way while shaping a personal story: reasons for selection and omitting components of a picture;
-Production of integrative personal art myths and utopian models of existence, broadening the limits of a moving picture;
-Analysis of ideological and aesthetical media of recording of historical events (from memorials and exhibitions to cinema and literature)
-Zooming the distance between authors and audience by means of transferring not the communicative signal of a work but its techniques, forms, materials and effects.
Regulations of the IV International Festival of Audio-visual arts VIDOLOGIA 2006:
1. Participation in the festival is free of charge.
2. DVD and Mini DV formats are acceptable for selection program.
3. Only works produced not earlier than January 1st 2005 are applicable.
4. Duration of works should not exceed 30 minutes (exceptions may apply).
5. The panel of coordinators of the festival will assemble the selection program that will be evaluated by jury and audience of VIDEOLOGIA 2007.
6. The entry form should accompany the work sent to the festival (emails with attached files with entry forms are acceptable).
7. Deadline for submissions is October 20th, 2007 (postmark).
8. All deliveries from international participants should be marked: "no commercial value - for cultural purposes only".
9. All entrants will be notified by November 1st, 2006.
10. The entry implies full acceptance of the regulations.

Nosferatu is a German Expressionist film by Friedrich Wilhelm Murnau, starring Max Schreck as the vampire Count Orlok. Its original German title is Nosferatu, eine Symphonie des Grauens ("Nosferatu, a Symphony of Horror"). The film, shot in 1921 and released in 1922, was in essence an unauthorised adaptation of Bram Stoker's Dracula, but with names and other details changed because the studio could not obtain the rights to the novel (for instance, "vampire" became "Nosferatu", and Count Dracula became Count Orlok).

Snimljen je indirektno po knjizi „Dracula“ koju je napisao Bram Stoker – naime, redatelj F. W. Murnau je htio dobiti prava za ekranizaciju romana, no kada ju nije dobio jednostavno je „ukrao“ priču i izmijenio imena likova. #Call for candidature - BIGSCREEN INTERNATION FESTIVAL OF FILM 2007, China

Bigscreen Festival, only and single festival of film in the western south of China, is back in November 2007: It continues its beautiful impetus after the large one succés met at the time of last year during "Italian productions for the Year of Italy in clouded".
CinaOggi.it, GoKunming.com, and Yunnan Arts Institute organize "Bigscreen Festival", with the collaboration of the Italian cultural Institute of Peijing. This Bigscreen year presents a film collection of the whole world whose selection will be carried out by an international jury. Last year the jury included/understood directors internationally known like Jia Zhangke (Winner, Golden Lion with the Festival of Film of Venice) and Wang Xiaoshuai (Winner, Grand Prize of the jury At Cannes Film Festival and Silver Bear At Berlin Film Festival).
The event will be divided into three parts which will open the festival of film, (short metrage, documentary and animation) which will be intitulees "One competition", "In competition" and "x-ray" (for selected work).
During the 5 days of the festival of Bigscreen, internationally recognized djs will play: Also of other artists will be invited. In more of this programming, photographic exposure with vidéos and handcraft will be presented.

Scenario writers and directors
We invite the scenario writers and directors to send their work for the selection of the festival.
The directors can send more one of their work during the competition but they must subject a complete inscription for each work presented.
Only the films with under English titrations will be accepted (the silent films do not need evidemment under titration)
If you are interressé, send a DVD, copies film, CD with a synopsis (maximum 200 words), a short biography (maximum 150 words), a document with all the soustitres of the video, 2 images of film and the photography of the director. Thank you

Photographers
We invite the photographers to send their work for the selection of the festival.
If you are interressé, send a DVD with your photographs in high definition (tiff, 300 dpi). You can also send your "originals" printed to the format 20 * 30 cm. Thank you
The selectionnées photographs will be printed in China.
Also join a short presentation of the photographer with the titles of works written in English.
The topic of the exposure relates to "the change". This last can be physical, mental, emotionel or of urban nature.

DISONANCIAS is pleased to announce the call for proposals from international artists to work on joint research projects with heads of R&D&I in companies and research centres located in the Basque Country (Spain).
DISONANCIAS is a platform that promotes relationships between artists and companies, research centres or public organisations in order to foster innovation in all its aspects and transmit to society the importance of developing creative environments.
Artists are requested to develop a prototype, procedure or idea based on a framework predefined by one of the nine participating entity: DORLET, EiTB, FUNDACIÓN IKERTIA, GRUPO SARKIS/LAGUNKETA, IMAR, LANIK, LANTEGI BATUAK, POLO GARAIA and TECNALIA. The concepts they want to investigate can be grouped in two main fields:
- concepts dealing with the organisation of territory and ways of interrelating people and resources: sustainable urban environment models (TECNALIA), ways of relating between disabled people integrated into the job market and their social network (LANTEGI BATUAK) or the interrelationship dynamics between the members of an technological park (POLO GARAIA);
- technological or material application/developments: most of the researches in this section deal with architecture and urban issues: domotics (DORLET), interactive urban furniture (IMAR), environmental architecture (GRUPO SARKIS/LAGUNKETA), transformable architecture (LANIK), or health emergency in public spaces (FUNDACIÓN IKERTIA).
In the special case of EiTB (Basque Radio and Television), the artist(s) is requested to research into the documentary format based on the creation of an audiovisual work dealing with all the collaboration projects.
The submitted proposals will be examined by an international jury comprising Cecilia Andersson, Bronac Ferran, Jose Pérez de Lama and Juan Mari Uzkudun. The final decision will be taken by the hosting entities and will be communicated at the end of October 2007.
DISONANCIAS gives priority to the involvement of artists:
• interested in working around the interaction between different social and cultural systems and projects that favour group work;
• who use science or technology as a basis for their work, or who reflect upon it.
The call is open to artists working with any type of medium and in any discipline, either individually or as a group. There is no limit on age, nationality or place of residence.
The selected artists or group of artists will each receive the amount of 8,000 net euros as a fee for the work carried out and for their travel and accommodation costs. The costs that may be generated in the development of the research work and associated with external companies and suppliers should not exceed 5,000 euros + VAT, and they should be previously approved by the hosting entity.

#Call for texts - artist-initated, artist-run, artists' spaces
For those of you who follow, are, or have in the past been engaged
with artist-run centres or collectives or artist-initiated and
organized projects, we are seeking submissions to a book about this
milieu; the book will be a kind of profile, snapshot, cross-section
with many short texts (3-500 words) by many many people (100+).
In particular we are looking for challenging, imaginative,
future-oriented texts. It has always been the case that
artist-initiated activities suffer extraordinary pressures
(financial, administrative) but we are feeling that we are on the
cusp of a kind of sea change in which artists work differently and
have different organizational support needs; that is what we hope the
book will address.

1. Etta Gerdes and Per Pegelow from the interactive arts media network
are organising in the moment the media art exhibition “WORK IN MOTION –
migration, mobility and labour".
2. The exhibition is planned for this gallery: Red House, Sofia, Bulgaria.
3. We need: your provisory submission of adequate work to get approval
for the funds. Please submit net art, interactive works or video art.

short biography (less then 250 words), a short description of the work

4. Concept Exhibition:
WORK IN MOTION - migration, mobility and labour
The industrial revolutions set man in motion again after agriculture had
made him settle down.
Farmers and farm workers moved into the cities to find a better life
there.(Im)migrant workers came a long way, gave up their roots and
homelands, to find wealth working in an industrial nation. Some
industrial countries even invited them over since they were in need of
more workers.
Through this process of migration, foreigners and their religions and
ideas join a nation. They have to be accepted, sometimes controlled and
at best integrated in a productive way. Migration has always been a part
of European history.
Prospering regions attract job-seekers, who dream of wealth and better
circumstances. Big cities emerge due to the flow of migration and as a
consequence, traffic and public transport increase.
Today, flexibility is the keyword to describe the situation of the
working population. A lot of employees commute daily over long
distances, or move houses every few years. For some of them, it is the
only way to stay employed; others take their chances to improve.
At the same time, whole branches move their factories to countries where
wages are low. Sometimes, whole production plants are deconstructed and
rebuilt in other countries. These migrations of jobs often leave workers
unemployed, and the industrial nations are now in need of new jobs. The
products that are produced in low-wage countries find their way back to
industrial countries. This flow of goods is accompanied by the
international flow of money.
Specialists and scientists are enticed away by other industrial
countries, which is called brain drain, and dreamers often look for
their El Dorados in foreign countries. Employment enables people to
climb the social ladder, whereas unemployment may lead to decline.
Employment is a chance to develop, both for men and whole countries.
The Media Art Exhibition “Migration – Work in Motion” intends to pool
various artistic approaches in a pulsating art show. This exhibition has
a strong reference to Sofia itself. The selling of the steel works
Kremikovtzi to a subsidiary company of the giant, Indian-based Mittal
Steel Group gives a concrete local example for various European and
global phenomena that are shown within the exhibited art. It is a
subject of some exhibits.
This exhibition promises an inspiring discourse about “WORK IN MOTION -
migration, mobility and labour” before the background of a constantly
changing economical landscape that is in a global flow.

O FESTIVALU IMPROSPEKCIJE:
Ideja festivala IMPROSPEKCIJE je okupiti plesače, glazbenike i likovne umjetnike koji imaju interes, kao i prethodno iskustvo u improvizaciji, a želja im je surađivati s umjetnicima drugih disciplina, raznovrsnih iskustava i umjetničkih zaleđa. IMPROSPEKCIJE će se, od 06. do 14. listopada, održati u Centru za kulturu i informacije Maksimir, Švarcova 18, te u prostorima oko i u Zvjezdarnici Zagreb, Opatička 22.
Vođeni idejom razmjene iskustava i suradnje, kao i poticanja stvaranja improvizacijske scene u Hrvatskoj, na IMPROSPEKCIJE su, pored naših, pozvani i cijenjeni međunarodni umjetnici. Nastup na festivalu tako su potvrdili: Chris Martineau i Isabelle Cirla, članice improvizacijskog kolektiva Les Imprevisible, te kipar Denis Tricot iz Francuske, američki koreograf i plesač Scott Wells, švedski plesač i koreograf s prebivalištem u Belgiji Khosro Adibi, kao i nekolicina plesača iz susjedne nam Slovenije te plesači, glazbenici i likovni umjetnici iz Hrvatske.
Svi će se oni okupiti u četvrtak 11.listopada 2007. u 20 h u CKIM gdje će se odrediti raspored događanja idućih dana. Sudionici svake pojedine improvizacije bit će unaprijed određeni metodom slučaja (izvlačenjem imena) dok će vrijeme i trajanje svake improvizacije biti zadano. Publika je pozvana na večernja događanja dok su jutarnji i popodnevni sati namijenjeni za upoznavanje, diskusiju, improvizaciju između pripadnika određene skupine. Svake večeri nakon javnih izvedbi želji bismo otvoriti diskusiju s publikom i sa svim sudionicima festivala na temu improvizacije na sceni kao i o nekim specifičnim problemima i pitanjima s kojima su se izvođači susretali na ovom festivalu.
Tijekom festivala u prostorima CKIM svim zainteresiranima bit će na raspolaganju audio i video snimke radova nekih glazbenika i plesača poznatih po svom djelovanju na improvizacijskoj sceni.
Edukativni dio festivala bit će radionica kontakt improvizacije pod vodstvom međunarodno poznatog plesača, pedagoga i koreografa Scotta Wellsa koja će održati od 06. do 11. listopada, a završit će javnom prezentacijom u četvrtak 11. listopada u 19 h u velikoj dvorani Centra za kulturu i informacije Maksimir.
Improvizacijska scena u Hrvatskoj još što je u nastajanju te usprkos nedostatku referentnog mjesta za improvizacijske susrete i eksperimentiranja, postoje umjetnici, plesni kao i glazbeni čiji je to primarni izraz te pojedini radovi nastali isključivo po principu improvizacije. Ideja festivala IMPROSPEKCIJE je okupiti upravo te umjetnike te im pružiti priliku da se u okviru jednog za to specijaliziranog festivala međusobno upoznaju i surađuju. Ideja za ovaj projekt javila se kao rezultat poznanstva i suradnje hrvatskih plesačica Sonje Pregrad i Zrinke Šimičić sa članovima improvizacijskog kolektiva Les Imprevisibles (Bordeaux, Francuska) u želji da se ta suradnja proširi na širi krug pripadnika hrvatske plesne i glazbene scene.
Teškoća i ljepota improvizacije na sceni ogleda se u krhkosti i neizvjesnosti izvedbe te potrebi za slušanjem i prepoznavanjem među izvođačima, a to na poseban način uključuje i gledatelje. Stoga IMPROSPEKCIJE, pored plesača, glazbenika i likovnih umjetnika koji se bave improvizacijom, na druženje pozivaju i publiku, za koju će ulaz na sva događanja biti besplatan.

A sada o samoj radionici u Zagrebu:
CILJ RADIONICE je razumijevanje i savladavanje osnovnih principa kontakt improvizacije, principa leta i skoka u kontakt improvizaciji, te korištenje tehnike za strukturiranje i razvoj improvizacije kao izvedbene forme.
Neke od tehnika i principa koje će se proučavati su: 'flying patterns' (podrške, principi odraza, skoka, letenja), 'fluid acrobatics' (akrobatika u pokretu), 'pure contact'(osnove kontakt improvizacije).
Let ` Skok jer, dok je 'skok' isključivo mišićna akcija, 'let' proizlazi iz specifične artikulacije tijela te odluke i koncentracije pri izvedbi skoka. Sadržaj radionice proizlazi iz Wellsovog dugogodišnjeg iskustva bavljenja kontakt improvizacijom, u obliku scenskih izvedbi i radionica diljem svijeta. Strukturiranjem improvizacija kroz radionicu doći će se do materijala koji će biti prezentiran posljednjeg dana radionice, u sklopu IMPROSPEKCIJA – međunarodnog susreta interaktivne plesno-glazbeno-likovne improvizacije .

Konferencija “PREDMET, LUTKA, MASKA - MOĆNO SREDSTVO TEATARSKOG IZRAŽAVANJA” održava se u saradnji i uz podršku IDEA-e /Međunarodne asocijacije za dramu, teatar i obrazovanje/. Ovo je deseta, jubilarna, konferencija i posvećujemo je lutkarstvu, kao važnom segmentu teatarske umjetnosti, ali i nezaobilaznom edukacijskom sredstvu posebno u radu sa djecom. Ovom Konferencijom želimo, između ostalog, skrenuti pažnju na nezavidnu situaciju u kojoj se nalazi lutkarstvo u našoj zemlji, ali i čuti iskustva drugih kako bi pronašli puteve za vlastiti razvoj i napredak. Konferencija je namjenjena za sve one koji vjeruju da teatarska umjetnost ima moć koja utiče na svijest pojedinca, koja utiče na njegovo ponašanje i mjenjanje, za sve one koji vjeruju da mjenjajući pojedinca mjenjamo i svijet u kojem živimo, te onima koji žele mijenjati svijet u kojem živimo zajedno sa drugima iz bližeg i daljeg okruženja. Konferencija je posebno namjenjena onima koji vjeruju da ne postoje tako čvrste granice koje snaga ljudskog uma, okupljenog oko neke ideje, ne može prevazići i udruženim snagama stvarati nova djela, novu energiju, novu budućnost... Konferencija je namjenjena svima onima koji vjeruju da je teatar i teatarska umjetnost pravo svih, a ne privilegija odabranih. Konferencija je namjenjena i onima koji koristeći teatar i teatarsku umjetnost kao sredstvo pomažu ljudima da bolje razumiju svijet u kojem žive, ali i da sebe osnaže za život u tom svijetu. Ključni govornici provociraće diskusiju i postavljati pitanja na koja ćemo u toku konferencije tražiti odgovore. Pokušaćemo dokučiti mogućnosti dijaloga različitih kultura, rezultate tog dijaloga, puteve kuda vodi i šta se dešava kada dijaloga nema. Pokušaćemo istražiti šta smo do sada uradili, gdje smo sada i šta nam je činiti. Kroz rad u radionicama i praktično ćemo prezentirajući različite metodologije rada uspostavljati dijalog i ispitivati šanse i probleme koje on nudi. Radionice ćemo raditi u lokalnoj zajednici I sa ciljanim grupama za koje su pripremljene radionice.
Predstavićemo i 3 lutkarske predstave predstave. Prisustvovati dodjeli Međunarodne nagrade za doprinos razvoju dramskog odgoja "Grozdanin kikot".
Svi koji su zainteresirani za učešće u radu naše konferencije, pozvani su da prijave svoje izvještaje, prezentacije svoga rada, radionice, ili druge oblike učešća u radu konferencije. Pored naziva teme, potrebno je priložiti i kratak opis teme o kojoj želite govoriti ili rada koji želite prezentirati. Ovaj sažetak ne bi trebao sadržati više od 1500 slova. The Mal au Pixel festival further supports ongoing electronic art practices
and research in the field of new media and technology. The festival presents
experimental installations, audiovisual performances, practical workshops
and public debates.
The third edition of the festival will focus on the theme of public space.
The notion of public space as developed, in particular, by philosopher
Jürgen Habermas during the sixties, encompasses all symbolic, physical and
virtual dimensions of public space.
Our urban public space is increasingly taken over by technologies designed
for enhancing communication mobility, for the information of citizens, for
surveillance and control. While new perspectives for usage open up, the
philosophical, political and cultural aspects of these new public spaces
evolve and redefine the relations to the other, the freedom of expression
and of circulation. And at the same time, the private sphere is increasingly
under scrutiny, under siege and even exposed.
For this next edition of Mal au Pixel, we would like to investigate, for
example, the question of online public space and virtual communities,
interactive installations in the urban space, mobile infrastructures and new
cartographies.
We are currently looking for both finalized projects as well as
concepts/prototypes and we encourage people from all disciplines to
participate and send us proposals. Artists, researchers, architects,
designers, activists, musicians, performers, engineers, VJs, etc., you are
all welcome!
We will also support site-specific projects by granting artistic residencies
and providing other production resources.

V akciji umetniki poklanjajo svojo umetnost. Lahko so to njihova dela, lahko izvedejo kakšen performans ipd. Tu gre za direkten odnos umetnik – gledalec oz. mimoidoči.
Organizator bo pripravil prostor in poskrbel za vsa potrebna dovoljenja.
Prijave sprejemamo do dneva prireditve, udeležijo in svojo umetnost podarijo pa se lahko tudi neprijavljeni umetniki.
Dogodek se bo odvijal v soboto, 29. septembra 2007 na Bevkovem trgu v Novi Gorici nekje med 11.00 in 15.00.
V primeru slabega vremena bo dogodek potekal v avli Kuturnega doma Nova Gorica.

EXPLORATIONEN 07 considers arts’ available resources for rethinking learning processes and sets these in more vital relation to theoretical approaches. The symposium is one of three different working formats devised by tanzplan essen 2010 - an initiative sponsored by the Federal Cultural Foundation’s “Tanzplan Deutschland” to address learning in and through dance over the next four years.

#Potpora za sudjelovanje na medunarodnim skupovima

Nacionalna zaklada za razvoj civilnog društva kontinuirano zaprima prijave na "Natječaj za ostvarivanje potpore za sudjelovanje predstavnika i predstavnica udruga iz Hrvatske na međunarodnim skupovima u inozemstvu - PP5A" za 2007. godinu.
Potpora će se dodjeljivati za sudjelovanje na međunarodnim skupovima i sudjelovanje međunarodnih stručnjaka na domaćim skupovima koji su tematski izravno usmjereni k jednom od sljedećih područja: promicanje i zaštite ljudskih prava te unapređenje demokratskih institucija društva i vladavine prava; izvaninstitucionalno obrazovanje za razvoj demokratskog građanstva; zaštita prirode, okoliša i održivi razvoj; mladi; razvoj volonterstva; izvaninstitucionalna kultura, mediji i primjena informacijsko-komunikacijske tehnologije u razvoju civilnoga društva; regionalni razvoj; socijalna kohezija, poglavito razvoj socijalnog poduzetništva pružanjem usluga u socijalnoj skrbi, zaštiti zdravlja i obiteljskim uslugama sektorske prilagodbe sustavu Europske unije; informiranje i obrazovanje građana o procesu pristupanja Europskoj uniji, promicanje europskih vrijednosti te promoviranje nacionalnih interesa u ujedinjenoj Europi.
Tražena financijska potpora ne smije preći 70% ukupnih troškova sudjelovanja na međunarodnom skupu.
Prednost će imati:
- predstavnici udruga kojima je prihvaćeno izlaganje na skupu
- sudjelovanje na skupovima koje organiziraju krovne europske/međunarodne nevladine mreže kojih je udruga član ili namjerava to postati
Na natječaj za ostvarivanje potpore prijaviti se mogu udruge registrirane u Republici Hrvatskoj.
Prijave će se zaprimati kontinuirano do 31. prosinca 2007., odnosno do isteka ukupno planiranog iznosa za potpore s tim da zahtjevi trebaju biti poslani najmanje 30 dana prije najavljenog datuma održavanja skupa.

#Iwami Kagura, Japanese traditional dance workshop
Repertory workshop: Iwami Kagura, Japanese traditional dances with Tadashi Ishikawa from 28 October to 4 November 2007 in residency at the Royaumont Foundation.
As of 2006, the Centre for Choreographic Research and Composition (CRCC) has opened the notion of repertory to include ancient dances from non western cultures, a heritage passed on through generations via the oral tradition of direct personal contact. Tradition can be a means of questioning modern concerns and, in this case, a possible source of renewing choreographic propositions of contemporary dances today.
The kagura, ancestor of Noh, are dances directly related to the agrarian cycle that have been maintained for centuries by the village inhabitants. The music is essentially made of chants, flutes and percussions. The dances belong to ceremonies where the relationships between music, gestures and objects are codified. They can be a prayer or an entertainment addressed to the divinities. Iwami Kagura, dating from the middle of the 19th century, is the last evolution of this ancient form, with both narrative and abstract parts concerning the founding myths of Japan.
Tadashi Ishikawa, member of the Takatsu kagura shachu from the Iwami region, will direct the workshop, with a musician and a translator (Japanese/French, and English to be confirmed). Susan Buirge, choreographer and artistic director of the CRCC, will co-direct some parts of the workshop.

Do you have some digital art that you want seen?
Digital Fringe is seeking submissions of digital visual material to
broadcast over the Internet as a part of the The Age 2007 Melbourne
Fringe Festival: September 26 to October 14.
We are calling for digital art works to display on all screens. These
may be stills, animations, video art, short film, abstract pieces,
audio, …whatever!
This material will make up part of the general stream which will play on
all screens throughout the festival and can be accessed online. Artists
will retain the copyright of all works under the Creative Commons
licensing scheme.
Digital Fringe is an open access web based digital arts festival that
runs in conjunction with The Age 2007 Melbourne Fringe Festival.

This Professional Training Program offers an intensive physical training in techniques which develop skills connecting dance, movement, voice, bodywork and physical re-patterning.
This course is the foundation course of the Certification Program in Vocal Dance & VMI Bodywork Practice which trains people to become Somatic Movement Educators/Therapists, recognized by ISMETA.
The course meets for 5 long week ends from Friday to Tuesday over a nine month period from November to June for a total of 25 days.
The training incorporates Patricia Bardi’s innovative work, Vocal Dance, which frees the voice to be fully alive and reflected in one's expressive behavior and movement. It also includes VMI Bodywork Practice which combines voice with movement to stimulate and organize the body’s physical-perceptual-emotional awareness and integration.
The closing date for registration for the Introduction day is 3 October.
