Proposal for new article 2.2.2. of Rulebook “4 the best teams in each category have the right to participate in next year EMC without participation in National championship or qualification tournament. Those teams don’t have the obligation to participate in National championship or qualification tournament for that year. In same time country that has those teams who directly qualified can nominate another 3 groups in each category, or 5 in case that organize EMC on top of those troop. For nonformation the same rule exists just in case that nonformation consists of same girls in same age class. voting: - in favor of - 9 votes - against – none - sustained – 3 votes
I do not know who proposed this, but this a disaster for the majorettes. I am asking the GA why do we need a national championship? Can somebody explain me a meaning of this article?

The intention was that more teams from countries which have the best results in Europe can participate in EMC. In some cases it happens that 4th or 5th team in some national championships are „better“ than 1st, 2nd or 3rd in some other country. This system is used in most European competitions. For example in Champions league in football if you pass 1st circle of competition next year one team can participate in Champions league without qualification and another one (2nd) can participate in qualification. Because of that from some countries (UK for example) in one year you have 5, 6 or even 7 participants, and from some countries (Croatia for example) just one after 3 circle of qualifications, or even not a one.
