I believe that AA is not just that. Sure, Mystery's idea of small tribes 30k years ago makes sense, but that doesn't explain how naturals don't have it and how one who becomes a natural loses it. I believe that AA is the simple manifestation of fear of going out of your comfort zone paired with feeling inadequate and insecure and a simple lack of habit to do this stuff. AA may never completely disappear, but at one point it becomes laughably weak so that it can be overriden every time without problems.

I don't believe this is just Mystery's idea. I believe it is genetics. Like fear of snakes. We are not born with it, but are very quickly conditioned to fear them (http://abcnews.go.com/Technology/afraid-snakes-scientists-explain/story?i d=12759901#.UDMnSqnibYh).
AA never disappears, but we learn to cope with it. Naturals also learn to cope with it. Naturals become naturals as a result of success streaks (while young and learning this stuff) and hence find there is nothing to be afraid of.
Difference is we are doing it consciously, they are not.
