By combining their efforts, several groups of scientists from the Harvard Stem Cell Institute (Harvard Stem Cell Institute - HSCI), the Institute of Wade (Broad Institute) at Harvard University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Boston Children's Hospital (Children's Hospital Boston) and the Medical Center deaconess Beth Israel (Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center - BIDMC) have identified a number of genetic elements that previously had never been involved in the process of reprogramming cells.
