    365th post. it's not any kind of anniversary. Numbers are just alluring, or distracting, whatever.

    Were I a diligent blogger, posting every day this announcement would have come sometime in March, on the blog's birthday. This way it hangs absurdly in a void, like a lost soldier after a scattered battle formation, like a phalangite without his spear dragging his shield searching for the battle field. And he knows it's better for him not to find it before he finds his spear. And his comrades, of course.

    What is a phalangite without a phalanx?
