    Neprijatelj nikad ne spava!
    Zato smo mi uvijek budni!
Lude, pa koja je onda razlika između nas i njih?

    The enemy never sleeps

Finally, my first completely slept-through night since the day I happily "went to Yuma". Since which I have survived physically strong the withdrawal crisis which doesn't exist in the literature and hence was not, and also a mental crisis which still shakes me quite deeply even now. Yes, a lot of insomnia, and somewhere about two or three months ago dark black doubts appeared in my mind whether maybe everything is not yet right with me and how it would be lovely to take 100 mg of poison and sleep, sleep! But I resist every time! Stubborn, even masochistic: Don't do it, mate! I don't know how I would stand the shame of turning up again on Dr N's doorstep, Doctor, doctor, I want more of your pills.

Patience is a mighty weapon. I determined that long ago, in many concrete examples and cases, and there is no reason why it won't help now. Especially after the strange journey in the icy void. Everyday little crises and and problems are common shittiness. But like any man who has broken his leg, in the beginning you walk a bit carefully.

And so tonight, overwrought from who knows what woe that slept poorly through nights and entire days, went to bed around eleven with the intention of watching, thus from the bed, the Hollywood version of Solaris. The cunning part of the plan was to exploit a a boring film as a soporific. And it worked! I woke about one, the sun was at its height, and refreshed and whole I launched an attack on the kitchen to prepare an anti-winter remedy meal to welcome my beloved when she returned from the week of work that she managed to snatch from the merciless labour market. The kitchen rang to my triumphant cheers:

    Hey, hey, hey!
    If the vigilant are awake
Nor do the unsleeping damned rest
