Brief history of the race:
When the Avantasians first arrived at the Uni12 system, the colonists aboard the sleeper ship „Arcania“ choose a planet in the center of the Universe, as scanners showed - rich in resources. Being a planet with considerable landmass, the explorers were sent to investigate the surface. Once the explorers reached the far lands to the southeast they encountered a small group of local humanoids, no more than 1000 in count. Thou the Capricorns (as they called themselves) had a knowledge of a modern star ships and hyperspace drive, they lived quite humble in their little villages, spending most of the time farming crops, if not arguing among themselves. In the beginning, the Avantasians had quite a trouble while translating and understanding the Capricorn's language. Being hyperactive and wild in nature, most of the surrounding empires in their short history banished them around till they finally landed here, on a planet today known as Arcania.

As they were the first race Avantasians found in this sector, they agreed to accept them as a coequal member of the W.A.R. Alliance. Having a powerful ally on their side, the Capricorns with the help of Avantasians decided to abandon the Arcania, the planet they lived on and inhabit a new planet, the one they could call their own.

Since this, the Capricorns have expanded their influence, and in the last 50 years they evolved and developed into a decent civilization. But their character never changed; till today they still rather headlessly act than making a methodical approach.

Fighting under the Sign of the Hammer they make a fierce opponents, thou their planned attacks in the end often turn out to be just a berserk run.
