Brief history of the race:
Nobody really knows when these colonists became what they stand today for. But one thing is certain, from the very beginning they were different than the others. Their ancestors were the lifelong slaves, constantly transported from the far regions of the Crow Nebula. Because of the structure of the nebula, the planets near it suffered from constant radiation that made the local flora emit gasses similar to alcoholic fumes. Over the ages, they evolved and become addicted to the gasses that filled their planets' atmosphere. But one thing was constant - the slavery they suffered from the Gaians, powerful industrial race that ruled in the vicinity.
The crucial moment in their history takes place around some 150 years ago, when led by the self proclaimed queen Persephone, know by her enemies as Venus of the Wolves they escaped to Uni12 where they live today. The story goes that, abandoned by all and living in the desolate, barren lands on the planet Coudray, Persephone worked secretly, and years after she finally managed to smuggle the materials needed to build them a small colony ship named "Burn'n'Scream" that would take them away from their longtime oppressors.

Today, they spread their empire throughout few sectors, colonizing over 5 major planets. Some time ago, once the Avantasians arrived in Uni12 the Abandoned joined the W.A.R. Alliance. Since that day the Abandoned became one of the most prosperous member of the Alliance, having the largest and most powerful fleet.

Thou they populated many new planets that are abundant of resources - unlike and different than their waste home planets - one thing remained permanent. It's their addiction to alcohol and alcoholic fumes, which they must ingest on daily basis.
