Well it's been a long time (about 9 months) since we've had a bed. We had an organic cotton matterss made and it is going to be here tomorrow :) :) :)
I have been putting a safe coat application on our bed frame. I was having real bad reactions to the wood. The pine slats makes me jittery, chest pain & breathing pain, swollen throat, just ill all over and most other woods I can't handel either with not as bad of reactions. So I'm hopping this safe coat takes care of the problem. It's suppose to seal particle board and plywood from being able to out gas toxin fumes. I hope it takes care of the wood sensitivities I'm having with the bed! If not, there are other Safe Coat products that might work better for this purpose.
I'm excited to say the least. There are so many MCS people with the worst of sleeping arrangments, I know, I was one of them! I feel very fortunate to get the chance to have a "real" & "safe" bed for me with no fire retardents, no pesticides, no non-natural materials (ALL ORGANIC). It will be a dream come true having a good night sleep!!!
Oh Yea! Del and I will be able to sleep together! WOW!
