The DVD is a Napalm Death DVD released by Earache in 2001. The only material seeing release for the first time is the Nottingham show from 1989 and the Killburn National show from 1989. The version of Utopia Banished currently in print features The DVD as a bonus disc.

DVD, also known as Digital Video Disc or Digital Versatile Disc, is an optical disc storage media format, and was invented and developed by Philips, Sony, Toshiba, and Time Warner in 1995. Its main uses are video and data storage.

Note: corroded area repaired in front of both faces and at 7pm behind Octavian's neck. Repairs marked on the coin. The repair was done both in order to stabilise the corrosion, and also for cosmetic reasons to present these wonderful portraits on an otherwise very damaged coin.

Tile Repair After

Zoom into largest image to see detail. Finished patching. The urethane coating has not been completed yet. Still waiting for the paint to dry. You cannot see the crack anymore unless you are bent over looking down at the tile. It only now looks like a hairline crack and in some spots you can't even see the cracks at all. It depends on the width of the cracks, and how I filled them.

The grout was dark brown and nasty. I used 'Outdoor bleach' and warm water and a heavy toothbrush and it went white again with little effort.

Golden Condor - Repaired & Sealed

This was one of my early ones but it suffered some problems last winter. Could have been frost damage. The lower sun mirrors had cracked and I did not want to simply replace them for it just to happen again. So whilst I was doing the Planter Mosaic, I quickly created some new centres which were then attached and grouted. I also sealed the whole mosaic Pond Sealer so hopefully I should keep it in one piece for some time to come.

Repairing Old Photographs 2 (changed)

*The "Healing Brush Tool" can be used to mend rare old photograps that are torn and worn out. The preservation method is to remove scratches, marks causes from bending, rips and coffee stains.*

1) Select the "Healing Brush Tool" first, and then indicate a source point that has a similar colour to the imperfected area and one that dosen't have any scratches by clicking "Alt" once and then begin brushing the imperfection.

2) Brush a few times over the same area, as it may not function the way you want it to the first time.

3) Use the tool in conjuction with the "Clone Stamp Tool" to colour over scratches...

4)...or to add more image to a cut off or torned part at the edges or in the middle of a photograph.

5) Finish the restortation process by cropping off the edge ("Crop Tool") and adding a new border and drop shadow.

6) To do this: go to Canvas size and add 0.2cm to both Width + Height

7) Right click the layer- "Layer styles" and tick the drop shadow option and apply.

*I also played wth the "auto contrast" and "Black and White" because it gives it a cleaner look and is then easier to edit due to the clarity of the scratches.

Old photo repair workflow

This photo belongs to my grandmom, she's the little girl in the foreground. The photo was taken in 1936....

The original has gone through a lot, as you can see. So, my father gave me that photo and asked if I could repair it. And here's what I did with it.

I printed the middle version in a5 size and gave it to my grandmom. She was very happy to see the old photo getting fixed :)

(The coloured version was just for my own experiments. I'm kinda happy how it turned out, though it has some flaws still...)
