Why Sony VAIO VGN-FW378J/B Battery can use different nominal voltage

Q: My original SONY VAIO VGN-FW378J/B Battery's nominal voltage is 14.4V or 10.8V, but nominal voltage of the cooresponding type battery does not match with me, the nominal voltage of 14.8V or 11.1V, and indicate that can be used on the same model, how should I choose?
Answer: SONY VAIO VGN-FW378J/B laptop computer, its working voltage range of DC Safety is between the 5.5V to 24V. The batteries we equipped, is a rated voltage range of the required security. As we know, the batteries we used are lithium-ion batteries, and lithium-ion battery's own characteristics are: the battery voltage increased while charging; the voltage reduced when discharge. For example, a nominal 11.1V battery, which can provide practical and effective operating voltage range of 9V-12.6V, when the battery is full the voltage is 12.6V or so, and when the battery is discharged, the power voltage is about 9-10V , and that means 9V-12.6V is the shop can provide effective operating voltagto the computer . From the computer DC power design principles, all manufacturers of notebook computers are designed such computer motherboard power lines, so whether you are using the original SONY VGN-FW378J/B Battery nominal voltage is 10.8V, 11.1V, or 14.4 V, 14.8V, can all be used interchangeably, and safe, please rest assured to use.
