She showed interest in music at a young age (1970s). Had notable appearance at Yugoslavian music scene (1980s).

Kaliopi will represent Republic of Macedonia at Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Baku, Azerbaijan with the pop/rock song "Crno I Belo" (Black and White).
