So far, they haven’t found anything else
Jimmy awoke to the chirping of his cell phone. At first he didn’t know where he was, and it took him a second to become oriented. He glanced at the clock - 2:12am. He was in Miami, and his head thudded dully from the drinks that hadn’t near enough time to wear off. He could hear Trash snoring softly in the other bed as he fumbled for the phone.
"Yeah," he said. His mouth felt like it was full of cotton, and he pulled himself out of bed and headed for the bathroom and a nice cool drink of water.cheap nike shoes
"Jimmy?" It was Robbins, of course. "You awake?"
"Barely," Jimmy muttered, filling the disposable plastic cup and taking a long drink. "What’s up?"
"Jarvis hit another one. Some lawyer north of Mobile, in the area where he disappeared."
"What happened?"
"Not sure yet. The wife came home from some sort of trip, and found her husband shot to death in the hallway. She says there’s also cash and some jewelry missing, and her husband’s BMW."
"What about the Mercedes?" Jimmy asked, his adrenaline waking him up.air max on sale
"Parked in the garage. CSU is there right now, turning over the place. So far, they haven’t found anything else."
"So Jarvis is now in a Beamer."
"Yep, brand new, black. The license plate must have still been on it, because the one on the Mercedes came back as stolen. He left it there, Jimmy, and drove off with the car’s original tag."
