I love this story!  Someone started hanging ornaments on two large pine trees next to the Garden State Highway in New Jersey.  Officials have no idea who started decorating the trees, but more ornaments keep showing up.  The unidentified spreader of Christmas cheer even hangs the ornaments at eye level so they are easily seen by passing motorists.  Sometimes it really is the thought that counts.  It makes me want to go out and start decorating random trees along the highway (full story here).  Whoever you are, New Jersey tree decorator, I salute you for making the days of so many just a little brighter.
