Society Garlic in Bloom
Society garlic, Tulbaghia violacea in full bloom. The entire plant including the flowers is edible. The flowers taste pleasantly of garlic and make a great garnish for salads or other foods that combine well with garlic.
This plant propagates by division and is a perennial. I probably first planted it in 1999.
This was taken a long time ago with the old Nikon (no mod, only b&w).
The idea here is what society can do to you. The rose in the bottom(middle) is being smashed by the other ones. The brightest ones are on top... I'll let you continue the interpretation.
