Samsung Q530 15-inch notebook with Nvidia’s Hybrid Graphics Optimus

Samsung has introduced the Q530, a 15-inch notebook with Intel Core processor and i3 Hybrid Graphics on Nvidia-based Optimus. It is available now for 899 €.

The built-Core i3-350M runs at 2.26 GHz. On board are also 802.11b/g/n 4 GB RAM (DDR3 1066 MHz), a 500-gigabyte hard disk with 5400 revolutions per minute, DVD burner and wireless after. The Ethernet interface supports only 100 Mbit / s, most laptops have Gigabit Ethernet. The reflective 15.6-inch screen dissolves to 1366 by 768 pixels.

To save energy, the Geforce 310M enabled automatically only when their performance is really needed – such as playing or converting movies. Otherwise it is at the core in the i3 integrated graphics unit, the image computation.

The 6-cell battery to allow for periods of up to five hours. As operating system Windows 7 Home Premium installed.

The Q530 weighs 2.36 pounds and measures 38.1 times 25.5 times 2.7 to 3.26 inches. Samsung offers 24 months on-site pick up service.
