can i just tell you that the elves are ready and rarin' to go in the factory?! they punched in with a little extra zest, and of course they got a hearty serving of noodle soup -with extra chilis- when the lunch whistle blew.

they had an excellent holiday -- as a friend of mine over the pond so prudently deduced, they all went up to the north pole (via reindeer express, of course) for their annual gig up in st. nic's workshop. well, they gained a few ounces (all those gingersnaps, you know?), but they also honed some excellent skillz!

here is what rolled off the conveyor belt this afternoon:

~three nighttime sky necklaces - lapis lazuli
~three tsaritsa rings, yeow!
*prehnite and aquamarine
*moonstone
*genuine ruby, with 14 karat gold and white gold accents (!!)
~one subtle but mighty salt of the earth ring - bloodstone
