Tulsa QT

Tulsa QT

Rear view; stands on the Penninsula created by Riverside Dr. & Delaware Ave. & 96th St. (Bridge to Jenks)

Born & developed right here in Tulsa, QuikTrip has become a phenomena just about anywhere it goes. They are all 24/7 except one. I have to say, I don't fully understand it. The current layout of most stores has a 16-pump island (many in Tulsa are older and have far less pumps), a large c-store with central cashier stand; candy, snacks on one side, QT's own "QT Kitchens" goods on the other with a huge soda fountain area. They typically set the pricing in our metro, usually the first to go down in price and the last to go up. Sounds great, right? It is, but the constant crowds, lines for pumps during rush times, and risky parking lots (try getting into the parking at 61st & Lewis at all during lunch time...and if you make it in, try backing out of a space without getting creamed) keep me opting for the competitors across the street--often with no one at them!! QT is also ranked in the Top 100 Best Places to Work each year. This one is on Riverside in South Tulsa. You won't find QTs very far from the Tulsa metro because they concentrate in large cities. They also have a spoken agreement with the 7-11 franchise in Oklahoma City not to infringe on each other's territories.

Having said all that, they do offer a large soda fountain, wide coffee selection, big array of bottled/canned soda/energy drinks/juices/milks/specialty drinks (that probably outdoes most similar competitors), made-daily, fresh donuts/cinnamon rolls/long johns/pastries in the morning, fresh sandwiches/hot dogs/taquitos, etc. for lunch thanks to QT Kitchens division. They also have drug-store type convenience items like gallon milk, eggs, etc. so you can skip that "quick" visit to Walmart. So I get it a little--they have their benefits... they might just be missing the drive-thru window!

Sept. 20, 2008- QuikTrip celebrates its 50th Anniversary at the River West Festival Park (near the amphitheater on the west bank of the Arkansas), with a concert featuring multiple groups, including locals Hanson and a fireworks show that will supposedly out-perform our city's 4th of July set! QT knows how to party.

SABRINA: THE ANIMATED SERIES

PLOT SUMMARY:
Based on the sitcom Sabrina: The Teenage Witch debut on September 27, 1996, Sabrina: The Animated Series is a cartoon show that features Sabrina as a 12 year old middle school student who's just beginning to learn how to use the magical powers she's inherited. Together with her best friends Harvey and Chloe, Sabrina navigates the wild waters of Jr. High, and of secretly coming from a family of witches.

The show was made in 1999. It is the spin-off to Sabrina, the Teenage Witch, the sitcom. This cartoon was completely different from the show itself. It featured our main character Sabrina except as a 12 year-old in Jr. High School just developing her powers. Her best friends are Chloe Flan and Harvey Dwight Kinkle. Chloe is the only mortal that knows that Sabrina is a witch, and Harvey is still Sabrina's secret crush. Together they have many adventures. Her rival is Gem Stone, the equivalent of Libby Chessler from the original show, and is incredibly rich. She still has the same aunts: Hilda and Zelda Spellman except they are teenagers, and she has an additional household member, Uncle Quigley. In this show even though Sabrina has her magic, she relies on a Spookie Jar to sometimes to help her cast spells. All of these characters help make the show as great as it was. Unfortunately Sabrina, the Teenage Witch was still greater so the show ended with only one season of 65 episodes. Though it has ended, it still is a great addition in Sabrina history and Viacom productions. However it wasn't the end for Sabrina: the show was slightly brought back in Oct. 2002 as a Nickelodeon TV-Movie! Sabrina the Animated Series: Friends Forever or Sabrina: Friends Forever.

The So-called "prequel" Spin-off of the hit tv series Sabrina: The Teenage Witch. It only lasted 3 years on TV. She still had her Aunt's Hilda and Zelda Spellman, except they are teenagers who take care of the tweenage Sabrina, who is 12 years old in this Spin-off! Sabrina is voiced by Emily Hart-Melissa Joan's little sis. This cartoon is completely different from the show itself. It featured our main character Sabrina except in Jr. High School just developing her powers and Harvey is still Sabrina's secret crush and her best friend. Her other best friend is Chloe Flan. Chloe is the only mortal that knows that Sabrina is a witch, Together they have many adventures. Her rival is Gem Stone, the equivalent of Libby Chessler from the original show, and is incredibly rich. Sabrina also has an additional Uncle named Quigley. Unfortunately Sabrina, the Teenage Witch was still greater so the show ended with only one season of 65 episodes. Though it has ended it still is a great addition in Sabrina history and Viacom productions. However it wasn't the end for Sabrina: the show was slightly brought back in Oct. 2002 as a Nickeldeon TV-Movie! Sabrina currently airs on the The WB mornings and Toon Disney.

Sabrina: The Animated Series (title shown as Sabrina, the Animated Series in opening credits) is an American animated television series based on the Archie Comics character Sabrina, the Teenage Witch. It was produced by DIC Entertainment, which was owned by Disney at the time. The cartoon series is a spin-off of the popular live action series that ran on ABC (also owned by Disney). Later, a movie Sabrina: Friends Forever and a spin-off series Sabrina's Secret Life were produced by DiC, this time without the ownership of Disney. The show is currently airing on CBS' Cookie Jar TV.

The series debuted in 1999. The Archie Comics star had already graced the Saturday morning airwaves in the 1970s (courtesy of Filmation), but the popularity of the live-action Sabrina, the Teenage Witch sitcom in the 1990s formed part of the basis for this spin-off series. Unlike previous versions, Sabrina in this series was depicted as a 12-year-old attending middle school. As in the original comic series, Sabrina lives with her two aunts, Hilda and Zelda Spellman, and Salem Saberhagen, Sabrina's sarcastic cat, all of whom advise Sabrina on the use of her powers (thereby contradicting the live-action show's premise of not having those powers prior to her sixteenth b

New York, September 2009.

Yogurtland! Chris and I are talking about opening a franchise in Canada. It was amazing. It's a self-serve frozen yogurt place, and you pay by the weight. I had lychee, taro and blueberry yogurts with strawberries, blueberries and toasted almonds on top. Chris had peanut butter, dutch chocolate and mango with oreos and peanut butter cups on top. Sooooo delicious!

Shin Musha Gundam

Shin Musha Gundam

Based on Hajime Katoki's design of Shin Musha Gundam that appeared in the "Gundam Musou" PS3 game, the samurai-armored Mobile Suit is produced with every detail accurately replicated in this latest addition to the Gundam Fix Figuration series. This well-articulated Shin Musha Gundam action figure comes with optional armor parts for switching to Musha Gundam. Weapons include a naginata, jumonji yari, gun, katana, and sheath. A custom display base with stand is included, imprinted with the name of the Mobile Suit.

Musha Gundam (f Ä!, Musha Gandamu?) are Gundam units modelled after samurai, ninja, or other forms of feudal Japanese warriors. Inheriting the base SD Gundam design, typical design element include changing beam sabre into katana, sheath that act as a gun, removable armour suits. Although the concept began with more typical Gundam proportions, the idea is most famous for inspiring a long running SD Gundam franchise.

Planet of the Apes is one of my favorite franchises. I started trying to do something from "Conquest..." using the Collectible Minifigure gorilla head, but didn't quite have a good red jumpsuit. I repurposed another minifig combo I'd made a year ago cuz I liked the crazy bladed staff weapon. Anyway, here you go. "Ape shall never kill ape." (Guns by BrickArms)
