All of our rings are manufactured with tungsten carbide using nickel as a binding agent. Many companies choose to use cobalt as a binder because it is slightly cheaper. While either element will work just fine, cobalt has a higher tendency to have adverse reactions with some people's skin. This is why we use nickel. Although in some extremely rare cases a customer will discover he or she has an allergy to nickel, our rings are generally considered to be hypo-allergenic.

Words of Love
I've been out the last few days. My brother got married over the weekend. I don't think I took nearly as many pictures as I would have liked, but I decided it was best not to be annoying to the actual hired photographers at the wedding :)
I have a rather large backlog of images to work on from the wedding and my trip to Chicago. Expect a lot of pictures of the cloud gate sculpture in the upcoming days

The image is of the bride & groom's wedding rings set on a thesaurus. Light was a tungsten bulb . I was trying to use the setting sun light that was coming through the window but the sun was moving so quickly that it became annoying. :)
I left the wb on the warmer side to give a more loving feel?

we had a word from a favorite cartoon, Futurama, engraved in our rings... because we are maaaajor dorks. it says "SMIZMAR," means "Soul mate" in one of their languages.
(wow... that came out even dorkier than it sounded in my mind)
my ring(s) is white gold with diamonds in the engagement half and blue diamonds in the wedding band half. Shawn's ring is Tungsten Carbide in black... first time the jewelers had seen this kind of ring engraved... so that was cool
