I stumbled across this ' Little House on the Prairie- ish' style property yesterday, while cruising around in me mota, looking for something to photograph. Well, it really caught my eye, so I took a couple of very quick shots, before anyone came out ranting and raving at me, for taking pictures of their property, without permission (such is the grumpy British public) which by the way, has happened once or twice since this 'life through the lens' addiction began :-o
Anyway, I wanted to give this image a bit of a dreamy/surreal feel to it, so I have experimented with a bit with Orton stylee processing, new for me....your thoughts please, good OR bad......I can take it :o)
G'nite Ma, G'nite Pa, G'nite Jon boy.......or was that The Waltons lol....ohhhhh, methinks it was :o
In the woods
One of the pictures from our recent holiday in Herefordshire. We stayed in a Tipi in one of the wettest parts of the UK. Fortunately, the farm was at the top of a very steep hill and the worst of the rain had finished. We had a fantastic time, swinging from trees, playing host to a variety of wildlife each night (including several mice, a frog and a blind rabbit) and larking about in the woods. Absolute bliss! The kids quite enjoyed it too.
