12' Right Triangle Sage Color Premium Quality Heavy Duty Sun Shade Sail Made in USA

These attractive tensioned fabric shade sails can be installed over entryways, swimming pools, patios, and dining or play areas. They can also provide protection over parking spaces or pretty much anywhere shade is desired. Our premium quality shade sails are fabricated with the highest quality materials and made in the USA. Sewn throughout the entire perimeter for extra strength is 1 1/2" webbing and we use 316 stainless steel triangle rings in the corners. Our shade sails are made with a high rated UV blocking fabric and are sewn with double rows of locking stitches (not chain stitch). The cloth is a high-density polyethylene knit that is extremely strong and lasts for years in direct sun. Extra wide fabric is used so there are no seams. Gentle curves along the edges allow for proper tension distribution. When properly tightened and securely attached they can withstand seasonal weather conditions year after year. However, shade sails are not recommended for snow loads. Our shade sails are NFPA 701 - 1999, ASTM E-84 Class A, and California State Fire Marshal 13115 fire standard compliant. This is particularly important for commercial applications. Posts and attachment hardware not included.

This was shot around noon, high aperture for good depth of field, and was one of the more difficult lighting sets I've done. The shade was flapping up and down (about 8" variation) in the wind, and the sun coming through the shade itself made finding my composition a lot harder than usual.

Ron and I made the sheep a shadecloth awning so they could catch the breeze while avoiding the sun on hot days like today.

So far, they mostly still hang out in the barn (where they have two big fans), but they do drift out to the awning in the afternoon. The best thing about it is that it keeps their water cool without hogging valuable real estate in the limited shade the barn.
