Thank you wholeheartly for your condolences and sympathy to me and the family via e mails/cards and long distance calls.
The last few days, son Kelvin, daughters Janet, Karen and son-in-law Louis were busily helping me to go through all the necessary legal procedures which I have to deal with. The kids just let me to have a "quiet" time to contact their father's cousins and friends on phone re their father's passing.
Friends in town and neighbours come in, give me big "hugs" and bring me "goodies" which they specially prepare for me. What a blessing I have from Our Lord.

The Memorial service to celebrate Lachlan's life will be taken place in Peterborough, Ontario at Murray Street Baptist Church on Saturday, 24th January, 2009 at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to Murray Street Baptist Church or the Alzheimer Society will be gratefully accepted.

Dear friends

It is 1 a.m. in the morning. Lachlan is peacefully back to Our Lord. Janet, Karen, Kelvin, Maarje and the two little ones are with me in the house. Yesterday late afternoon, our church minister Dale Soble came in to talk and pray with Lachlan.
Memorial service will be taken place later.

Thank you all for sharing this very precious collection with me. The departure of Mr Lachlan MacQuarrie is indeed a great loss for many of us. Not only does he provide the ISWT-SSW-APSS with the valuable and much needed headship, but also the long-lasting spirit of growth. ???, ?????!

BTW, the Association has kept an extremely valuable record of the Association as well as the Nursery of her members.Very good work done. Congratulations!

I traveled to China and Hong Kong for the first time earlier this year and I decided to put the photo's to good use and use them as my inspiration for paintings.

I have always been fascinated by all things Chinese. Although I love traditional Chinese Artwork, my idea was to adapt it to my style. I hope you like it.

This is an original Acrylic painting on canvas board. All of my artwork is sealed with a fixative, sent in a plastic sleeve for protection and comes with a signed COA.

This painting is 5" x 7".
