It was quite a project and I coordinated a lot with oregon trail game free to try to create a train experience in Oregon that would capture the essence of the area as best as possible.
Oregon is a land of many forests, and it will be your job to tap into this potential.
The goal of the scenario is to deliver 300,000 tons of paper in 30 years.
The challenge is increased in difficulty because it implements Akalamania's Enhanced Paper Cycle.

I see we can finally be selective over what road names to include in the game.
Finally! I did however notice to forgot the SD40-2 CORP loco i made specifically for this map !!
I think this will slow down release 1.2 a bit...EDIT:ok i added the Central Oregon and Pacific Railroad loco back in for myself ..
Did i ever mention i hate hilly maps ?lol ok after playing for a while i just finally found the hiding place of the paper factory ..
You stuffed it way up in canada...
Stupid me FORGOT what the mod was and built an elaborite layout to bring woodchips to the print shop...
Never mind the little pop ups that tell me what an industry needs....
Well, i went broke building that track...
But it looks good!
I found running grain and food to portland makes a decent buck while i am strugling to build my timber lines....
So either i abondon the track, or or i abandon the game and oregon trail game free it.
Ill prolly jsut keep on going but i have blown 4 years in game and not cut down 1 tree yet ...
I hate maps with timers..
Almost more then hills ....

And I feel it was probably a mistake.
I think wood to the Roseburg sawmill...then chips to the Coos Bay mill might be the key!
I think I will play it out this first time, and go back later with that strategy, because either way I think I could do better.
I'm having a lot of fun though.
I'm loving all the cars!

I did it again i built a line to take logs to a paper mill this time.
New mod is messing with me.
So i abandond the new line before a train ever ran on it...
Then disater stuck while laying new signals..
I lost 4 of my main cash trains in one hicup!...

To the printshop south of portland at the same time, i am taking goods from the coos lumber yard to the same printshop, picking up MORE goods then headed to portland.portland is not tking goods just yet....
But i have an army of trams in portland and taking passengers over the bridge to the next town.
Once it takes goods money should be really good gods from one corner of the map to almost the diagnal corner?
Lets hope soI only ran a single line track with a lot of passsing sidings from coos to the printshop, i was carfull to snake around all abcblogred.blogspot.com hills so i did not have to level any hills (ok i did, but, just a few squares) or build any bridges i figured i am poor in the game my loan is maxed, and also that if this works right the paper train and the goods train should be going in the same diection at the same time anyways.this would be a great map for the earthslope mod.then came the real problem...

Sorry to oregon trail game free you but it seems i need a USSCC36.dat file.
I looked through all of Plastikman's sets and the paper cycle, and i even redownloaded all the files.
Could somebody please attach it for me?

The southern part of the map has been good to me.
I trashed my old game, I wasted too much time.
I started off with a simple wood run near Roseburg.
I quickly expenaded, taking woodchips down to Coos Bay, then slowly I added more wood in, and also began using the Coquille sawmill as well.
I'm feeling good, after two years I've got good money and the paper mill is producing between 350-450 tons of paper per month already (though I'm not delivering yet).
Not sure oregon trail game free to do next!
It'll be a good challenge, but its definetly beatable.
