SIP-1 Gallon SIP These pot inserts (also designed and manufactured in Germany) are great for annual planters. I have 5, 1 quart and 5, 1 gallon pot inserts. But I will not use them again for growing tomatoes. I have the gallon inserts inserted inside a 5 gallon pail, (20 litres). As the tomatoes plants have grown they demand more water than these pot inserts can hold and the tomatoes planted in these containers tend to suffer from water stress more than the others. The water shaft needs to be re-designed so it can be extended. As it is you are constantly looking for the water shaft when watering a tall plant. I need a tomato cage that can fit inside a standard 20 litres pail. it should be light weight but strong enough to hold the tomato as it grows and can fold down for fall storage. It should stand straight instead of flaring out to save space in tight growing areas.
