In a little over 48 hours the Venice Public Library was revamped with a combined Circulation and Reference Desk, plus new carpet in both the Meeting Room and the Main Library. Check out these before and after shots.

Day 1 -- Saturday at 3:30pm. Remove and replace carpets in Meeting Room and Main Library. Remove old Reference Desk. Rewire/retrench power and network connections.

Day 2 -- Sunday Delivery and installation of new combined desk.

Day 3 -- Monday 8:00-noon. Connect and startup Reference and Circulation computers. Noon -- open for business.

Just installed a carpet runner using FLOR tiles. Hopefully Mrs. Meyers down in 7D won't feel like Jack is running all over her head anymore - 1.5 tiles wide, Velvet Twist (Laurel) and Feelin' Groovy (Hemlock)
