NDU awards diplomas to inaugural class of ARSOF master's degree candidates Capt. Ian Edgerly, a Military Information Support Operations officer assigned to Fort Bragg, N.C., presents his master's degree thesis, "The Post-Cold War United States' Decision for Military Intervention in Weak or Failing States: An Argument for Non_Intervention in Somalia." Edgerly was one of 20 special-operations Soldiers to earn a master's in strategic-security studies through the National Defense University's College of International Security Affairs. NDU awards diplomas to inaugural class of ARSOF master's degree candidates Vice Adm. Ann E. Rondeau, president of the National Defense University, congratulates a graduate of a College of International Security Affairs master's degree program at Fort Bragg, N.C. The graduate is Capt. Robert Snow, a Military Information Support Operations officer and one of 20 special-operations Soldiers who will return to an operational unit following a year of academic study.
