Yay! Got an anchor through the ceramic tile and three inches into concrete without breaking anything
It was a bit tricky. I had to mark the hole (easy) then I had a loose tile that I had already drilled a one inch hole in that I used as a guide for the hole saw as it drilled into the floor tile. I used plumbers putty to make a ring around the area that I could fill up with water. Once I got through the tile I just gave the center of the hole a sharp pop with a hammer and the plug came right out.. Then I had to use a hammer drill to get through the concrete. Then I put in the drop-in anchor and hammered the cinter pin to spread the spreaders. Done! That thing is *never* coming out!
Repairing kitchen floor for ceramic
As with the bathroom and bedroom downstairs some of the repello didn't bond with the sub floor (first pour). It is necessary to replace this "loose" cement before putting down the tile.
