Randy Wilson of Monrovia won the Grand Prize by replicating the Del Mar track on his head at opening day's Hat Contest
The grand prize winner receives a trip for two to the Kentucky Derby which includes tickets to the races, airfare and deluxe accomodations. The construction of the replicated track took 3 months to construct.
