Evergreen
Evergreen:
Combining my love of Medieval Illuminations (Illustrations) and scrolly bits, here is the first completed (except for a few minor tweaks) design for the Yule Collection 2008. The background is a metallic gold which will show better in a proper scan and printing (this image is from my point & shoot camera with decent but not excellent light).
I will have Christmas Cards and 8x10 prints to sell on-line through Etsy. There will be 3 designs available. My goal is to have all 3 designs completed and ready for printing by the end of October and available for purchase in the first week of November, so there will be plenty of time for shipping, personalizing and getting them in the mail in time for the December holiday season! :)
Cards will be sold in packages of 10 (all of one design) or in packages of 15 (5 of each design).
8x10 prints will be sold individually or in packages of 3 (one of each design).
Costs are not yet finalized, I still want to see how affordable I can make them and still use local, independent sources and (hopefully) recycled paper.
NOTE:
Each year I would buy the UNICEF Christmas Cards to send to friends & family. Since I would like to continue to support them, I will be donating 10% of all profits from the card sales and 25% of all profits from print sales to UNICEF

Deardorff 8x10
Newly refinished Deardorff, Myron just finished completely stripping and then re-lacquering the whole camera. Wood does show some scuffs and dings but overall very clean. Nickle plating is in decent condition but showing it's age. All movements working perfectly. Bellows are in fantastic condition and look to be less than 10 years old with very little use.
We're taking offers on it for a week, then it goes on the evil bay.
