Chilton Church
Three 15th century arched openings in the wall of Chilton church, Buckinghamshire. The second and third arches are the remains of the staircase that gave access to the rood loft. The nearest arch contains the original makeshift wooden cross from the grave of Louis E. William Egerton, killed in action near Pilkem in 1917. 11th May 2009.
