AUTOMATIC SUNSHADE : AUTOMATIC

Eclipse Windshield Sunshade, 26IN X Eclipse Sun Shade- A shady barrier between the blazing sun and your interior surfaces. Block out every bit of UV radiation! The self-retracting Eclipse Sun Shade is one of a kind! Not only is it a good-looking, quality shade, but this manufacturer put serious thought and deliberation behind the design. The Eclipse SunShade is customized for your vehicle; there are no awkward gaps where the sun peeks through. A beveled bottom edge where it meets the dash prevents bunching. The shade mounts to each side of windshield so it's always right where you left it. Mounting the shade requires no tools or drilling. Remove it at any time. To close the Eclipse Sun Shade, simply pull each side of the shade together in the middle of the windshield. Velcro® brand fasteners hold it shut. When not in use, each side of the shade folds up accordion-style at the sides of the windshield. The shade will not block your view of the road. The Eclipse Sun Shade works just as well on rear truck windows, conversion vans, sunroofs and boats. This is the best on the market today for keeping out UV rays. The design of the Eclipse Sun Shade is what sets it apart. The sun shade is sleek and classy looking. It fits your vehicle precisely, literally sealing out all harmful UV rays. Anyone can install it correctly in a few minutes. The Eclipse Sun Shade is incredibly easy to use - no tools are needed, and no adhesives on the posts or dash. The sunshade attaches directly to the windshield with aggressive bonding, high-tech adhesive. It opens to a very compact, inconspicuous column tightly along each windshield post. If you'd like, the blinds are easily removed with a simple twist of the wrist. The Eclipse Sun Shade's automatic retractor system has been tested for a minimum of 1200 cycles guaranteeing that it works the way it's supposed to, time and again. It has also been tested for longevity in extreme climates, and proven its high performance. Nope, just my bedroom window covered in snow from another massive snowstorm. The storm yesterday (Sunday) was another huge one, piling up about 17 inches of new snow, and it snowed all day today too (last I heard, we were up to about 78 inches so far). I haven't been able to see outside my bedroom window because it's covered in snow. I thought the snow formations created fantastic abstract images in several of the window panes. I posted four of my favorites as separate images, take a look... I would love to know what you're able to see in them or which one you like best. :-) Update: My thanks to everyone for playing along. It's been fun to read about what each of you sees in these abstract images - you all have great eyes and wonderful imaginations!! Honey Nut Clusters This morning, after hearing the weather forecast (high in the 30s, low in the low 20s) we decided to go to Menards to pick up some plastic covering for our leaky downstairs windows. I got the same stuff I got last year, from 3M, which looks really clear and works well. Now I just have to put it up. We spent the rest of the day mixed between lazing about and doing chores. Oh, and we had Honey Nut Clusters while watching Saturday Night Live. One of the errands I ran yesterday was to pick some up, b/c it is Steve's favorite cereal. It took me a few trips up and down the aisle to find it, because it has a whole new look (seen here). I guess they are going for less kiddo, more adult/healthy. They still taste great though! BYPASS SHUTTER DOORS : BYPASS SHUTTER

Life After Gastric Bypass: 6 Steps to Ensure Your Weight Loss Success The adage says most people won't take action until their back is up against the wall and there's nothing to do but come out swinging. My back was against the wall! But it wasn't the fact that I had sleep apnea and needed a machine just so I could draw a breath. It also wasn't the fact that I could not cross my legs; shop for clothes in regular stores; walk for more than ten minutes without my back killing me; participate in sport activities, or even sit in an airplane without a seat belt extender. I, like many of you reading this book, was already numb to all the jokes from little kids or stares from adults, so those things never became a factor of the day I knew. The day I knew that I had to do something -- the day that I absolutely had to lose weight -- was when I couldn't even wipe my own backside. When you can't even reach around your own massive belly, or reach behind your own back to clean yourself, something has got to be done. At that point I was well over 450 pounds. It was an embarrassing secret that I thought I would take to my grave! No matter what made you choose this drastic change in your body and lifestyle, you should be proud of yourself for making the decision. Contrary to popular belief, surgery is not the easy way out. It's a major life altering choice that you and your family will have to live with for the rest of your lives. But, what a life you now have to live! This book will tell the story of an overweight child who became an obese adult and then decided to do something about it when his back was against the wall. Also, with help of an expert in her field, we'll show you how to achieve your goal weight and maintain it through the proper diet and exercise long after the first incision was ever made. (7) Sokol2 My newly obtained Russian friend was bought on EBay, from Ukraine. A long way to Turkey must have shaked it well that when I opened the box, I found its rangefinder broken and shutter silent as dead. Of course the shutter needed battery, a mercury type from old times, and installed a fresh Alkaline replacement. Still no action, caused a brave thought of opening the big metal box. Only after a few screws and the battery door, the top comes off, letting you to do your job clean without touching any brain cells. I found the rangefinder problem is just mirrors fell due to dried adhesive. Sticking them back followed with rangefinder readjustment made it ok with just some vertical offset in the bright spot. Although I couldn't understand the battery problem, bypassing the battery check button solved the problem and the shutter was back to life again. The camera needs enough light for 1/30sec f/2.8, and doesn't take it otherwise. As the light level increases the shutter speed increases also, up to a set maximum, starting to close down the aperture after this point. Very brilliant operation with fairly good metering. Anyway, I'll try to put more sample shots taken with this camera, if I ever put a film in it of course :) CKC 2861 The ghost of past mistakes grabbed me roughly and pinned me down Try as I might to explain about fuel consumption, range and distance remaining till our next town The fuel gauge needle hovering at a quarter, pointed ominously at my direction Other companions nodding disapprovingly, clucking tongues No more exploring until further top up And so we sped towards Cue, which was nothing to my expectations When the earth stopped giving, the ore diminishing The highway and roads bypassed the town, Taking away business, traffic and opportunity Humming the soundtrack to the Alamo, we cruised the dry dusty main road devoid of cars and pedestrians Storefronts with shuttered windows and doors, dirty stained glass with finger graffiti It was to be a new experience for us - staying at a sheep shearing station Just 8 minutes from town, the sheep have long gone bypass shutter doors The Aprilaire Model 600 Automatic Whole-house Bypass Duct Mounted Humidifier features the, new for 2011, Model 60 Digital Humidistat Controller with a built-in blower activation relay. Different Shades Of Brown For Hair
A Different Shade of Gray: Midlife And Beyond in the Inner City An original look at urban aging by the Robert F. Kennedy Book Prize winner. In a book that Robert B. Reich, former U.S. Secretary of Labor, called "provocative and insightful ….combining revealing details about specific people with thoughtful analysis of the trends that have shaped their lives," Katherine S. Newman, former dean of social sciences at Harvard's Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study and award-winning author of No Shame in My Game, exposes a growing but largely invisible group of Americans: the aging urban underclass. While an increasing portion of the U.S. population is about to retire—the number of Americans over age sixty-five is expected to double to seventy million in the next thirty years—the experience of middle and old age, as Newman shows, differs dramatically for whites and minorities, for the middle class and the poor, and for those living in the suburbs versus the city. Focusing on the lives of elderly African Americans and Latinos in pockets of New York City where wages are low, crime is often high, and the elderly have few support systems they can rely on, A Different Shade of Gray provides "a well-documented portrait of a little-examined group" (Kirkus Reviews). GRASS SEED FOR DENSE SHADE : FOR DENSE SHADE
Grass Seed For Dense Shade
The Nutrient Dense Eating Plan: Enjoy a Lifetime of Super Health with This Fundamental Guide to Exceptional Foods "Nutrient-dense eating" refers to the nutritional quality of a food and to the highly concentrated, vitally important foods eaten on the plan. They are the opposite of empty-calaorie foods that eventually degrade health and lead to debiltating diseases, such as cancer, diabetes, heart disease, and obesity, says Douglas L. Margel, D.C. He believes the dominant eating disorder of this culture is the ambivalent, adversarial relationship people have with food. In this carefully focused book, he elaborates on the reasons for this, among them the complete capture of our food habits by the profit-oriented, chemical-dependent agribusinesses and fast-food companies. Dr. Margel believes that reconnecting to ancestral wisdom to food as it alwasys was, pure and simple-with people understanding that you are what you eat and eating as if it really mattered-holds the key to stopping the downward spiral of poor eating patterns that lead to even poorer health. The way to achieve this, he says, is through the Nutrient-Dense Eating Plan, a commonsense approach to food and the ways people choose to eat, and an easily understandable way to evalutate food for its quality. (16) Gaur The gaur ( /??a??r/; Bos gaurus), also called Indian bison, is a large bovine native to South Asia and Southeast Asia. The species is listed as vulnerable on the IUCN Red List since 1986 as the population decline in parts of the species' range is likely to be well over 70% over the last three generations. Population trends are stable in well-protected areas, and are rebuilding in a few areas which had been neglected. The gaur is the largest species of wild cattle, bigger than the African buffalo, the extinct aurochs, and wild water buffalo. The domesticated form of the gaur is called gayal or mithun. The Malayan gaur is called seladang, and the Burmese gaur is called pyoung. Gaur are said to look like water buffalo at the front and domestic cattle at the back. They are the heaviest and most powerful of all wild cattle, and are among the largest living land animals; only elephants, rhinos and hippos consistently grow larger, and the weight of gaur may equal or even surpass that of a giraffe. Males have highly muscular bodies, with distinctive dorsal ridges and large dewlaps, forming a very powerful appearance. Females are substantially smaller, and their dorsal ridges and dewlaps are less developed. Their dark brown coats are short and dense. There are dewlaps under the chin which extend between the front legs. They have shoulder humps, especially pronounced in adult males. Body length: 250 to 360 centimetres (8 to 10 ft) Shoulder height: 170 to 220 centimetres (6 to 7 ft) On average, males stand about 180 to 190 centimetres (5 ft 11 in to 6 ft 2.8 in) at the shoulder, females about 20 centimetres (8 in) less. Tail length: 70 to 100 centimetres (28 to 39 in) Weight: Males often 1,000 to 1,500 kilograms (2,200 to 3,300 lb), females 700 to 1,000 kilograms (1,500 to 2,200 lb) Weights vary between subspecies. Among the three subspecies, the southeast Asian gaur are the largest, and the Malayan gaur, or seladang, are the smallest. Male Indian gaur average 1,300 kilograms (2,900 lb), and the largest individuals may exceed 2,000 kilograms (4,400 lb); whereas Malayan gaur usually weigh 1,000–1,300 kilograms (2,200–2,900 lb). The largest of all gaur, the southeast Asian gaur, weigh about 1,500 kilograms (3,300 lb) for an average male. The gaur has a high convex ridge on the forehead between the horns, which bends forward, causing a deep hollow in the profile of the upper part of the head. There is a prominent ridge on the back. The ears are very large; the tail only just reaches the hocks, and in old bulls the hair becomes very thin on the back. In colour, the adult male gaur is dark brown, approaching black in very old individuals; the upper part of the head, from above the eyes to the nape of the neck, is, however, ashy gray, or occasionally dirty white; the muzzle is pale coloured, and the lower part of the legs are pure white or tan. The cows and young bulls are paler, and in some instances have a rufous tinge, which is most marked in individuals inhabiting dry and open districts. Horns are found in both sexes, and grow from the sides of the head, curving upwards. They are regularly curved throughout their length, and are bent inward and slightly backward at their tips. The colour of the horns is some shade of pale green or yellow throughout the greater part of their length, but the tips are black.[3] They grow to a length of 32 to 80 centimetres (13 to 31 in). A bulging grey-tan ridge connects the horns on the forehead. The horns are flattened to a greater or less degree from front to back, more especially at their bases, where they present an elliptical cross-section; this characteristic being more strongly marked in the bulls than in the cows. The tail is shorter than in the typical oxen, reaching only to the hocks. The animals have a distinct ridge running from the shoulders to the middle of the back; the shoulders may be as much as 12 centimetres (5 in) higher than the rump. This ridge is caused by the great length of the spines of the vertebrae of the fore-part of the trunk as compared with those of the loins. The hair is short, fine and glossy, and the hooves are narrow and pointed. Gaur historically occurred throughout mainland South and Southeast Asia including Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, China, Thailand, Peninsular Malaysia, Myanmar, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, and India. Today, the species is seriously fragmented within its range, and regionally extinct in Sri Lanka. They are largely confined to evergreen forests, semi-evergreen, and moist deciduous forest but also occur in dry deciduous forest areas at the periphery of their range. Gaur habitat is characterized by large, relatively undisturbed forest tracts, hilly terrain below an altitude of 5,000 to 6,000 ft (1,500 to 1,800 m), availability of water, and an abundance of forage in the form of grasses including bamboo, shrubs, and trees. The camera truly loves him, and his considerable affable charm calls to mind early Hugh Grant, winsome even in utter confusion. Dempsey plays Tom, a nice guy but a serial dater with a girlfriend in every zip code of New York; Michelle Monaghan is Hannah, Tom's BFF since college, who's decided she wants marriage and family. When she becomes unexpectedly engaged to Colin (Journeyman's Kevin McKidd, rather McDreamy himself), Tom realizes what the viewer's known all along--that Hannah is in fact his dream woman. It's When Harry Met Sally... meets My Best Friend's Wedding--but thankfully, Dempsey's Tom is far more sympathetic than Julia Roberts' snide schemer. The plot isn't exactly full of surprises, but the cast--and their amazing chemistry--are so winning that the film makes for the perfect date movie. Not only are all three leads charming in their own way, but the rich cinematography manages to make both Manhattan and the Scottish countryside look like glorious edens, one urban, one windswept. Monaghan is a revelation, quietly lovely as a young Carla Bruni, but with a flinty gumption that makes her all the more appealing. The supporting cast is rich, too, especially Sydney Pollack as Tom's serially marrying dad. (At his dad's fifth--or is it sixth?--wedding, Tom's new arm-candy "stepmom" gets tipsy and overly affectionate with guests as her new husband looks on fondly: "Ah... drunk as the night I first met her.") But at the core of the film are its big heart, and the connection between Tom and Hannah, deep and wide whether they end up just best friends or more. And the delight for viewers is knowing they'll be just as glowy either way.-- A.T. (17) Louis Armstrong LOUIS ARMSTRONG Louis Armstrong was the Merlin of the Jazz Age, the musician most responsible for placing a nation under the spell of its first native art form. If ever the spirit of the energetic, gravel-voiced Satchmo coalesced into one iconic image from the period, it was in this 1935 classic, a lingering blast of light and shade by photographer Anton Bruehl. Bruehl, who had honed his craft on advertising shoots, knew just how to play the three-note chord of the Armstrong theme: the terse geometry of the horn, the ever present cool-down cloth, and jazz’s magic lips and smile, bright—and slightly divine—like the light from above.
