Vecchia Signora in Bicicletta - Old Lady on Bike (in Certaldo) From a series of Firenze, San Gimignano and Certaldo Italian vacation shots. Certaldo is a very beautiful old hill-town in Tuscany that Cignale and cristianella kindly took us to. This shot was taken in the lower (new) town. The hill on the right leads you up to the ancient hill-town. I was glad to see that the lady of mature years didn't attempt to cycle up the right fork, because that climb might have tested a Giro di Italia pro cyclist? My thanks to Antonio Castaldini for his very funny 'gallina vecchia fa buono brodo' (old chicken makes good soup)! LOL! I will be out most of today helping my wife man a volunteers' stall in Edinburgh.
