I like strippers...
...of the chemical variety. Using a chemical paint stripper has saved me a lot of work on the Bianchi road bike I'm refinishing (1988 Sport SX). I snagged it on ebay for $30 and picked it up locally. The rust damage on the frame was sparse but incredibly ugly. I decided to give the bike a spray paint job. Gonna go all white using a one-step epoxy. I tested it out on the fork and it's very smooth and even. Feels very hard and durable as well. I probably won't even clear coat it, just polish it up with wax. The bike should look good for a rattlecan job when I'm done. Can't wait to ride it!
Bianchi Sport SX
This will help me cross-train and ease up on my shins. I don't know much about bikes, but it looks like it was never ridden. I'm thrilled that it has gears. It's also very nimble compared to my Schwinn clunker.
