Tippy tiger, my favourite cuddly toy, has been along on many adventures with me and is looking a little more worn than in the photo of he and I in the frame. He has been my faithful friend for many, many years and brings back memories of my childhood. One of these adventures was nearly a disaster as he fell out of my backpack while walking with my Mum and Dad across the moors when I was not much older than in the photograph. Luckily after walking for what seemed miles retracing our steps we met a very kind person who had found him and carried him with them hoping to catch us up and return him. He also accompanied me on my first trip to Florida with my grandparents at which time he received the red jump suit, made especially by my mum and which he still wears. These days he stays out of harm’s way and sits in pride of place on my bedroom shelf. This photo is a digital representation of a double exposure. The background image is a photograph of me, aged 29, sat on the sofa holding Tippy tiger, and the foreground image is a framed photograph, taken in a studio, of me aged about 6 with a then, much newer, Tippy tiger. 22nd November 2011 - Louise Edited work photos. Into town to St. Paul's to see if there had been any interesting changes at the occupy camp, but was dissappointed. Walked down the river to the Festival Hall to look at the World Press Photo winners which were good but grim. Then met a friend across the river and saw the Amazon exhibition at Somerset House. Then to the pub for a few beers and supper, bus home.
