OXO SteeL Pie Server Rarely have elegance, durability and comfort been combined to such a degree when it comes to kitchen tools. The brushed stainless steel handle is strong and built to last while the trademark flexible fins make using this server a pleasure. A flexible steel head with serration on both sides will make cutting and serving pies, quiches and more, nice and easy. This pie server is elegant yet efficient, acting as a slicer and server. With sharp, serrated edges on the sides, use this tool to slice up dessert and then deliver it to a plate. The strong, yet flexible, stainless steel head can easily glide under pie crusts, yet won't bend, even with hefty servings. The large, comfortable handle is brushed stainless steel with rubber fins for comfort and will remain cool to the touch. It's also nonslip under wet or dry conditions. And the large hanging hole in the handle makes storage easy. Like all Oxo products, this tool is dishwasher-safe. --Laurie Notaro (11) Quizilla Servers Before Sale The server stack for Quizilla at the time of the sale. Operations were moved from these machines to LA 2 months later. Except for two, these servers are all hand-built by me. Note the glowing fans. (edit: photo was taken May 2005) Server Rack in the Laundry Room I needed a place to put servers and other computers in my house, so this is in the laundry room. The washer and dryer are stacked to the left of this picture (a great space saver!) killing floor no servers Featuring a stainless steel head and a soft, tapered handle. Serrated on both sides for easy cutting for left or right hand. Dishwasher safe. Angled to fit a pie plate's sloped sides, thin and flexible enough to slip under a pie wedge without breaking the crust, this tool plates a piece of pie without spilling the cherries. Its shape makes it ideal for quiche and other wedge-shaped baked goods, and for turnovers and other pastries that are too hot to be lifted by hand. The blade has serrated edges for cutting wedges without relying on a knife. Oxo regularly wins design awards for its Good Grips utensils with their familiar black, processed-rubber handles that offer control wet or dry. Because this tool is meant to be used gently, its handle does not have Oxo's characteristic "fins," or side grooves, that flex under pressure. Nor is it oversized like most Good Grips handles. Instead, it tapers toward the end to fit snugly into your palm. --Fred Brack Related topics: one flooring concrete flooring contractors laminate floor heating flooring south london weather tek floor mats industrial flooring tiles glueless laminate flooring |
