WHAT IF ? - "...IRON MAN DATED MS. MARVEL"
(BEST SEEN IN THE FAST LANE ON VALENTINE'S DAY)
CAROL- "So I said to Cap, You know how to whistle, don't you, Steve? You just put your lips together and blow...."
TONY- "Everyone wants to be Tony Stark. Even I want to be Tony Stark"
CAROL- "Find me an Iron Man who's interesting enough to fly with and I'll be happy."
TONY- "My father used to say, 'Let them see the suit and not you.' "
BOTH- "Sorry....what did you say?"
Office romances. So unprofessional. And yet....Tony Stark and Carol Danvers do strike sparks off each other every time they meet and especially so when they've got each others backs when teamed up in the mighty Avengers.
Iron Man and Ms. Marvel.
Whew.
"Evil doers prepare to be evil don'ters."
Meanwhile, the top is up, the sun is shining and the open road's ahead....
" 'Nuff said."

After a little consideration I decided to go with this pic as my Valentine's Day shot for 2009.
Gail and I went for a drive in the country and had fun shooting a series of travelling toys. Specifically, Ms. Marvel and one of the Iron Man movie figures sitting in the Hasbro Iron Man Roadster. I held them up on the dashboard and shot through their windscreen and ours. Experimented a lot with altering the depth of field and then played with the footage afterwards in Photoshop. This particular frame is a composite of a sequence shot on the run out of Melbourne, just south of the Docklands on the run up to the approaches of the West Gate Bridge. The windshield of the toy car is steeply raked and when bouncing around throws off all kinds of interesting and hard to predict distortions.
It was a fun trip, I felt a bit like we were filming a couple of stars in a classic movie, hence the cross purposes dialogue filched from Cary Grant and Lauren Bacall from various contexts.
The toy car is configured for left hand drive, U.S style, which is wrong for Australia. Then again, if Tony built the car, then he maybe doesn't NEED a steering wheel at all, and can perhaps control it via his armour's interface anyway.....I wonder if he's told Carol that yet? ;)
Batman - 1st Issue BATMOBILE No. 267 with ORIGINAL BOX, PLINTH and ALL EXTRAS by Corgi Toys
The cardboard ring was put around the cockpit windshield during packing. The Batmobile Owner Badge is a sticker printed on what appears to be some type of fabric. My favorite thing, however, might actually be the little slip of paper included, seen here in the bottom left corner, that reads as follows: __________________________________________
Your CORGI "Batmobile" is a highly detailed precision
diecast model incorporating all the features of the real
thing.
In addition to the action features, you should be able to
spot the following:
The aircraft-type steering wheel
The simulated batphone
The radar scanner on the hood
The radar screen on the dashboard
The fire extinguisher at the rear of the cockpit
The dual antennae above the cockpit
The simulated flashing beacon
The simulated rocket release lever in the cockpit
How's that for modelling !
