U srijedu je u Hotelu Bristol održana Skupština F.K. Velež na kojoj je bilo prisutno više od 100 delegata. Skupština je razmatrala i usvojila izvještaje Predsjednika, stručnog stožera, komisija, kao i Financijski izvještaj za proteklu sezonu. Nakon usvajanja izvještaja usvojene su promjene Statuta Fudbalskog kluba Velež,
a koje se tiču broja članova Predsjedništva kluba, koji je sa 21 smanjen na 13.
Pod petom tačkom Dnevnog reda Skupštine vršio se izbor novog vodstva F.K Velež i delegati su se o svim predloženim kandidatima izjašnjavali posebno i javno. Na kraju je za Predsjednika F.K. Velež izabran prof.dr. Ahmed Džubur, koji se i obratio skupu. Na samom kraju Skupštine razmatran je prijedlog jednog od delegata da se Veležu vrati prijeratni grb sa petokrakom. Samo podnošenje prijedloga je pozdravljeno aplauzom prisutnih zastupnika, a prijedlog je usvojen jednoglasno, tako da od naredne sezone Velež na svojim dresovima u okviru svog grba umjesto lopte ima crvenu petokraku zvijezdu i time je postao jedini klub u bivšoj državi koji je vratio to obilježje na svoje dresove.(bljesak.info)

Buffy se odlučila skinuti pred kamerama 
SARAH MICHELLE GELLAR izjavila je kako se kani razodjenuti pred kamerama prije nego navrši trideseti rođendan kako bi je njeni obožavatelji vidjeli u najboljem izdanju. Najavila je da će to učiniti prvom prilikom, već u sljedećoj ulozi.
Glumica koja se proslavila u TV seriji "Buffy - Ubojica vampira" nada se da će svojim golišavim scenama privući redatelje da joj ponude ženstvenije uloge kako bi se riješila imidža tinejdžerske zvijezde.
"Približavam se tridesetoj i želim promjenu" - izjavila je seksipilna glumica.
"Uloge kakve bih željela ne nude mi, pa bi ovako htjela šokirati ljude i natjerati ih da me izaberu" - izjavila je ne precizirajući čime će to "šokirati" ljude.
Prema nekim nagađanjima Sarah će glumiti porno zvijezdu koja želi pokrenuti vlastiti reality show u filmu "Southland Tales".

Schwartzeneggar were a anachro-punk supergroup of
sorts, not because of their tunes but because of who
was in the group... Steve Ignorant was in Crass, Mark
Pickstone was in Conflict and Andi Tuck is from
Thatcher On Acid. This CD EP compiles their first
three records, all 2-song 7"s that came out in
1992-1993. They also released a full length cd called
"The Way Things Are... And Other Stories" (Allied,
1994). I'm absolutely amazed that with all the Crass
worship these days taht none of Schwartzeneggars
records have been ripped. BTW: Crusties may be
horrified to hear Steve Ignorant talking about prayer
and other topics he would have never touched while in
Crass, but that's because like the rest of Crass (OK
Penny is an exception) he grew up and grew out of the
naive idealism that defined Crass.
And so will you someday.

“Geordie Gizza A Bit from Cradle to the Grave” by Clear Cut
While crowds flock to see international folk artists in the magnificent new Sage building on the banks of the Tyne, just down the river a rootsier sound is thriving – albeit on a smaller scale.
Welcome to the world of Clear Cut – a collective from Newcastle’s West End, following in a regional music tradition of setting snapshots of working class life to music.
Their first full-length release chronicles the life and times of “Geordie” and the relationships he has throughout his life, be they with parents, partners or pals.
In the course of the twelve tracks football, drinking, mischief and pigeons all get a mention against a backdrop of familiar local landmarks and events.
However, while the Hoppings or Balmbras may appear in the songs, the recurring theme is the destruction of what was once taken for granted – and the effect on those who remained to pick up the pieces.
There are no fake American accents here – the songs are written in Tyneside vernacular and delivered in an authentic Geordie brogue. Forget leather jackets, these songs come clad in donkey jackets.
“Geordie Gizza Bit….” is unashamedly sentimental in parts, but laced with the cynicism that comes from living with the consequences of political decisions made far away.
And while the acoustic playing is timeless, it’s no backward-looking Catherine Cookson-type snapshot of the region and its inhabitants.
But as well as documenting the bleakness and hardship of life in the area, there’s enough good cheer and bawdiness around to keep things from getting too depressing – this CD could easily be have been titled “don’t let them grind you down”….
Like the late Alan Hull, Clear Cut proudly wear their Tyneside credentials on their sleeves – as well as a bonny picture of the Tyne Bridges on the CD cover.
Homespun, authentic and ultimately uplifting – “Geordie Gizza Bit….” is for anyone who feels they’ve come home when they cross over one of the Tyne bridges.
