JGames - Starry Sky ~In Spring~ (PC)

Just finished playing the first of four Starry Sky games. This one is called ~In Spring~ and is featuring all the characters that have horoscope signs which belong in spring. The only female character is the player (you) while the others are Kanata, Suzuya and Yoh. Everything, of course, revolves around the girl, since this is an otome game. Kanata and Suzuya pose as "just" friends while it's very clear that both of them have feelings for her. Yoh is the only one who openly shows his intentions and is not shy about it one bit. While playing you get choices along the way which lead to different endings. I favored Suzuya so I don't really know what the endings are like if you picked Kanata or Yoh. Guess I picked him 'cause Yoh seems kinda pushy and Kanata... well, 'cause he kinda moody *shrug*.
The part that surprised me the most was that it was a pretty short game and I was expecting it to be longer *sigh*. It felt like I just breezed through it and the end came really fast. All in all it was a very enjoyable and pretty relaxing game, I recommend it wholeheartedly.



The story is about Tsukiko who is the first girl to enroll in an all boys school. The school was male only but it’s not so bad for Tsukiko because she has 2 childhood friend bishies Suzuya and Kanata, who protect her from all the lusting mans. The school they attend seems to be some kind of astronomy related high school because they often go out and watch the stars and one of the rooms has a massive telescope. All the Starry Sky games appear to be an ongoing series for every season....

Hunter x Hunter

Episode 112

Youpi sure was an unforeseen obstacle.
Getting him as a first opponent was just lousy luck.
Amidst all the chaos around them, Gon had the clearest mind.
Things certainly became interesting.
I like the new, more serious forms of the King's guards.
It's gonna be fun watching those fights.
The King is so gonna be the biggest problem.
After seeing what happened to Komugi, he's gonna be crazy angry.
That fact makes him even more scary and dangerous.
Next episodes will be very interesting.


Hamatora



Episode 2

An interesting new case.
It was fun watching them infiltrate a school.
Didn't think I'd see a classic bullying case.
Those seem to be popping up in the newer anime series lately.
Guess it's a pretty serious problem in Japan since they're introducing it into anime.
Anyway, I'm glad the case wasn't as simple as it seemed at first.
Hamatora always seem to stumble at serious cases disguised as simple.
Another great episode!


Tokyo Ravens



Episode 14

Finally, an action filled episode!
Sure has been a while since the last one.
Wonder how the kids will handle this attack.
I mean, the kids are impressive, but they're still just kids.
Where are all the adults when you need them?
It's a big school, yet so few experienced adults..
Well, at least they kept it real.
Damn, that Doman sure was a pain.


Inari, Konkon, Koi Iroha.



Episode 1

Hopefully this will be something like Gingitsune.
Lately, I started to like this kind of anime ^^
Seems like this one will have some romance in it.
That's always a nice bonus.
Why does Inari have to be such a hopeless girl?
Guess it wouldn't be interesting enough any other way ^^"
Inari stumbled upon something amazing.
Don't know if she appreciates it enough.
Anyway, it's really relaxing and fun.
Gonna be watching this!


Naruto Shippuuden



Episode 345

Still dealing with Obito's past.
At least some things make sense now.
The flashbacks were well placed this time.
It sure took some sweat for Obito to make his new form work.
Damn, that kid had not luck in life whatsoever.
Guess everyone needs to snap to unlock their ultimate power.
Unlike those boring side stories they've been showing up to now, this is awesome!


Kill la Kill



Episode 14

Matoi really made a mess of things.
Don't know how she'll get out of this one.
Nice seeing her drive something.
Don't think she did that at all until now.
So now they give us the Raid Trip. Interesting timing.
Mako was certainly enjoying herself on that trip.


Hoozuki no Reitetsu



Episode 2

Decided to give it one more try.
Looks like that was a mistake.
It's very confusing and I can barely follow it.
Feels like they're just throwing ideas all over the place.
The parts that make sense are kinda fun though.
Second part with Satan was very amusing.


Mahou Sensou



Episode 2

It's nice they provided all the info this time.
So far the plot is kinda predictable.
Those three switched one school for another.
It's ok though, but can't wait to see more fights.
So far it's looking good.
There were a few hints that the plot will be very interesting soon.

Kuroko's Basketball 2

Episode 14

Ahh... the Winter Cup game.
Seirin learned how to play creatively.
It was about time their game climbed to a higher level.
Getting such a tough opponent for the first game was unlucky.
But they could still benefit from it.
It's better to get harder opponents from the start than easy wins.
This way they won't have a chance to relax and make stupid mistakes.
I really enjoyed watching this episode ^^


One Piece



Episode 628

Emotions were running all over the place.
Glad they figured out how to outsmart Breed.
Not much of a surprise there.
The solution rather simple and unexpectedly fast.
That little seal was impressively brave.
I'm glad Breed finally got what he deserved.
Pretty good episode.


Magi 2



Episode 14

Nice to see Titus and Aladdin hang out.
Guess it could be a start of a better relationship between them.
Not surprised they're looking for trouble again ^^"
Always poking at the sleeping lion.
Looks like under the pretense of a prosperous city darker things lie underground.
Well, nothing is perfect and someone always has to pay the price so others could live carefree lives.
It's never fair and it's always sad...
This new story is interesting and certainly has potential.
Really good episode.


Noragami



Episode 2

Hiyori seems to be out of it since her accident.
At least she's enjoying her spirit self ^^
Her life sure changed a lot..
Yato is way too carefree for a god.
If he took his job a bit more seriously, he'd be closer to his goal.
Still, it's awesome watching those two get into trouble.


Benmashi Cecil



Episode 1

Some of the CG needs serious improvement.
The characters look good though.
Story sounds ok, but it could go in any direction.
The whole lawyers thing is a unique concept.
Don't know what to expect.
Main characters are practically all girls.
Looks like they were saving the fun for the very end.
Not bad, but it's still missing something.
Think I'm gonna skip it.


Nobunaga the Fool



Episode 2

Nice mecha fight ^^
That Nobunaga sure has a talent for fighting.
His hair style looks a lot like Takuto's from Star Driver.
It's nice to see that unusual style again.
Leonardo has a knack for stirring up trouble..
Jeanne & Nobunaga, what an unimaginable duo.
It's so weird seeing so many famous historical/legendary people in one anime.
Hideyoshi must be that one comic relief character... what an idiot.
Jeanne is giving off an all-boobs-no-brains-vibe; at least for now.
Very interesting and promising anime.


Witch Craft Works



Episode 2

Kagari always takes things so literally.
She's just too stiff, too trained.
Takamiya, on the other hand, is too carefree around all that danger.
It was nice to see new characters.
Well, this anime doesn't lack action, that's for sure.
Practically everywhere they go they get attacked.
Things are getting out of hand.
Takamiya's situation is pretty ridiculous.
The way things are going, he's never gonna have a normal life.


Buddy Complex



Episode 2

The future seems very intense.
At least it isn't lacking action.
Aoba handled himself great.
That was a nice surprise since he's a first timer.
So far it's pretty interesting.
Hope it continues down this road.


Yowamushi Pedal



Episode 14

Quite a few flashbacks this time.
Got to hand it to Onoda.
He's persistent and it's starting to pay off.
Guess he just made a new friend as well.
Manami might not be on the same team, but he's pretty cool.
It was fun watching that private race.
Everyone is aiming for the Inter-High.
Wonder who'll get to go in the end.

Hoozuki no Reitetsu

Episode 1

Weird.
Traditional + youkai + afterlife + weird = this anime
The animation is certainly unique, especially the setting.
Plot isn't very defined yet.
Seems like they are just going with the flow..
The only thing I liked was Hozuki's seiyuu's voice.
This level of weirdness is off the charts.
Can't make any sense of this anime whatsoever.
Skipping it.


Kill la Kill



Episode 13

Matoi was acting totally out of character.
It was weird seeing her lose her way, her goal.
Looks like she's worried about the rampage thing.
I'm awed by cheerfulness of Mako's family.
Damn, Matoi just can't seem to get rid of Nui.
It was the worst possible time for her appearance.
That girl is one scary opponent.
Things didn't turn out predictable this time..


ZX Ignition



Episode 1

The intro was interesting.
Practically all girl characters... kinda disappointing.
I would usual go for this sci-fi/adventure thing.
Feels like something is missing though..
Can't really put my finger on it.
Maybe it's just not serious enough for me.
Getting the younger viewers vibe from this one.
Skipping it.


Mahou Sensou (Magical Warfare)



Episode 1

This one has potential.
The story seems interesting enough.
Characters look nice as well.
Action parts were really good.
I'm gonna be watching this one.


Pupa



Episode 1

Another anime I thought it was full length.
I was wrong, as usual...
The animation was interesting, different.
It was unusual, but good.
The mystery of the story was intriguing.
Metamorphosis was sudden and gruesome.
Creepy, but shame it isn't a regular length anime.
I could use a good horror right about now.
Indecisive about this one.


Nourin (No-Rin)



Episode 1

Silver Spoon knock off with an idol.
Is it just me or are they running out of imagination?
Well, they did put in some comedy parts.
The story was pretty ridiculous.
They were all acting like some kind of idiots.
This is so not my kind of thing.
Skipping it.


Log Horizon



Episode 15

Explanations of the powers and abilities were a bit dull.
They probably put in to make character's actions more understandable.
Shame they wasted half of the episode on it though.
At least the training camp is making nice progress.
Not much Shiroe and his story this time.
Almost entire episode was focused on the low level kids' training.
Seems like the action is reserved for next episode.


Space Brothers



Episode 89

The unavoidable flashbacks are starting to annoy me.
Seems they are looking up to Naruto too much..
Mutta - Serika relationship is just LOL
Wish he would find some guts and ask her out already.
At least he's finally starting to live his dream.
Nitta and Kenji got the spotlight for a while.
Hibito was mostly on the sidelines.
Guess he'll make it or break it next time!


Nisekoi



Episode 1

The CG is a bit weird.
Maybe too flashy and kinda over the top.
This anime could have done without it just fine.
Halfway through it started to seriously annoy me.
Had higher expectations from this.
Those two were extremely annoying..
Don't know what to do with this one.

So far I see only one main guy..

Anime Movie - The Princess and the Pilot (To Aru Hikuoshi e no Tsuioku)

This is a really beautiful and emotional story of love, war and cruelty of life. A boy who had nothing but sad, hard life filled with discrimination and a girl who had it all, from a noble family were destined to meet again as adults. The movie follows their travel as simple pilot and princess across enemy territory, intense air battles with the enemy forces and the birth of mutual feelings. It was really sad how those two met under all the wrong circumstances which eventually brought them close together. The princess and the pilot is something that is worth watching because it has a little bit of something for everyone; from action & adventure to light romance.



As a beautiful daughter of the noble family del Moral, Fana was proposed by Prince Carlo, who is the crown prince of their country Levamme. However, since Levamme is at war with Amatsuvian, the marriage had to wait until the war ends. Meanwhile, as a bestado, the lowest caste in Levamme, Charles had always dreamed of flying and eventually became the ace pilot of the air force. Although he was often mistreated, a glorious chance came about when the Amatsuvian bombarded del Moral's home in order to get rid of the future empress. Charles was then entrusted with the top secret mission of delivering the princess to the prince.

Imaizumi & Naruko are LOL
Well, their rivalry is pretty funny/amusing.
All the newcomers were sore from the insane pace.
1000k really is a lot to handle in such sort time.
Naruko & Imaizumi overdid it..
It's nice they showed another team's preparations.
Looks like everyone has their own ace up the sleeve.
The Inter-High should be pretty intense.


D-Frag!



Episode 1

I thought the delinquents were dangerous.
Damn, those girls were even worse.
Poor delinquents didn't stand a chance...
The story is just weird, but also fun.
I'm indecisive about this one.
For now, I'm dropping it.
I might pick it up again after I see what else winter anime season has to offer.


Tokyo Ravens



Episode 13

Bakatora...
His cluelessness is pretty unbelievable.
Him and Natsume are pretty hopeless.
This lack of realization has been stretched too thin.
Looks like a new plot development has started.
Thiat Doman seems to be able to cause serious trouble.
Things are about to get interesting once again.


Hunter x Hunter



Episode 111

Attack from the sky was impressive.
Not that much happened except the sky attack.
The story about Netero was really interesting.
I enjoyed watching it.
This was one side side story/flashback I didn't expect to see.
It was a nice surprise and kept me glue to the screen.
Can't wait to see more of his fight style.


Hamatora The Animation



Episode 1

The animation looks interesting.
Character appearances are to my liking.
There is too much jumping from frame to frame.
It's annoying and also confusing at times.
The case itself was really good and very interesting.
Impressive. Think I'm gonna watch this one!


Naruto Shippuuden



Episode 344

Finally, Naruto takes the spotlight of not...
Guess flashbacks are more important.
Obito & Madara vs Naruto, Bee, Kakashi & Guy.
With 2-to-1 ratio it's still not a safe bet.
It was nice to learn more about what happened to Obito.
He sure has been through a lot, but the flashback could've been shorter.


Mikakunin de Shinkoukei



Episode 1

The best/worst birthday ever!
This could be good.
It's certainly weird enough.
Don't see much plot in this one though.
The sister-in-law is annoying.
The others are OK, but I'm not really feeling it.
Think I'm gonna skip this one.


Strange+



Episode 1

Extremely disappointed by the duration of this anime.
I thought this was a regular 20+ minutes anime, but nope.
Characters look nice. The animation is good.
The story is fun, interesting & funny ^^
Oh, and it's definitely strange!
If you have spare time, go for it.

Episode 1

My first impression was LOL
My second impression was that it looks interesting.
My third impression was "what a loser" ^^"
My forth impression was -> I'll be watching this!
Basically it's fun, interesting and entertaining.


Tonari no Seki-kun



Episode 1

Amimation looks rather basic and simple.
Characters don't look that special either.
The story is also simple, but entertaining.
If you are bored, I recommend this.
I'm skipping this one.


Nobunaga the Fool



Episode 1

Characters look nice ^^
The story is like an alternate universe with mecha.
Wonder why they always choose Nobunaga & his crew from history..
It's not like the Japanese don't have any other famous historical characters.
Anyway, this version looks promising.
It's like Sengoku Basara & Gintama crossbreed + western history legends.
I'll be watching this.


Free



Specials 1-2

It was nice to see the guys again.
The mini stories were nice; relaxing and fun.
It's basically what they do when they're not swimming.
Still, it was nice to see their everyday life.


Nobunagun



Episode 1

Another Nobunaga. Seriously?!
Both in the same season. Kinda bad timing.
Probably gonna split the viewers because of that.
Or people are just gonna watch both.
The animation looks pretty interesting.
Story is another weird alternative.
Has some aspects of Kill la Kill.
Could be good, but I'm not really feeling it.
Think I'm gonna skip this and watch only Nobunaga the Fool.


Sword Art Online



Extra Edition

I liked Kirito on motorcycle, pretty cool.
The recap of the series was nice.
It reminded me of a few things I forgot from then.
The swimsuit fan service was a good break from the seriousness of the recap.
So basically, the interview Kirito had & the pool part were the only new things.
Oh, and that little part in ALO near the end.
Still, it was nice ^^


Super Sonico The Animation



Episode 1

She sure has a lot of cats & a lot of alarm clocks.
A sleep-in airhead?
Well, at least she's hardworking.
Nice fan service! Guys are gonna love this.
Where exactly is the plot here?
Decided to see what this is, seen it and now I'm done with this.
Totally not my kind of thing.


Toaru Hikuushi e no Koiuta



Episode 1

Well, the summary was better than what I saw in the anime.
Actually, I'm rather disappointed.
This was on my possible watch list, but now... I don't think so.
There is absolutely nothing appealing for me in it.
Dropped it like a hot potato.

A very interesting character made an appearance this time.
We also got a lesson about magic.
I could do without that, but at least it offered new info.
The history lesson was rather interesting.
So the NPC's point of view of their world was finally shown.
What is history for them, it's only a game story for the players.
Looks like dying and re-spawning at the cathedral is not as simple as it seems.
Things changed significantly now that they're fully in the game.
The whole episode was a big lesson.


Attack on Titan



Special 1 - 3

I just love chibi's.
They're so unbelievably cute (´@)a
Their appearance is the same as those color collection figure straps.
Hope those come out soon, but judging from what I read, not until summer.
Anyway, the story is fun, funny and very entertaining.
Think the characters looks make it so you just can't take them seriously.
It was nice to see Eren punched by Mikasa (¬?¬)
The mini stories were nice and they always ended up eaten ^^"


Space Brothers



Episode 88

Nice greeting card at the beginning ^^
Hibito still obsessing about his problem.
Wonder why he'd get a panic attack now.
Things were going so well for him.
Wow, Hibito finally shared his problem with Mutta.
That was one serious confession.


Imouto no Yousu ga Chotto Okaishiin Da Ga.



Episode 1

The first few scenes were promising.
The sister reminds me of someone.
Some female character from another anime.
Can't quite put my finger on it.
I know! A crossbreed of Akatsuki from Log Horizon & Chitanda from Hyouka.
That girl is in such a weird situation that I'm practically speechless.
Damn, you guys can have it, I'm not into this stuff.


Kuroko's Basketball 2



Episode 13

Riko sometimes sure has a short temper.
Kagami worked hard on his game in LA.
Hope it'll make a difference they need for the Winter Cup.
Looks like all the other teams were training hard as well.
Can't wait to see them play against each other.
That should be a blast!
Akashi looks very dangerous.
Not a guy anyone should take lightly..
Each guy from Generation of Miracles is great at a certain aspect of the game.
This Winter Cup is probably going to be very intense.


One Piece



Episode 627

That Breed is annoying.
Poor Chopper, his cuteness was finally appreciated ^^"
Current situation seems rather hopeless.
I have no idea how they could possibly get out of it.
Wish Law would chop him up.
Breed obviously has some issues from the past.
Ending of the episode was pretty dramatic and sad.
I really really don't like Breed.


Magi - Kingdom of Magic



Episode 13

Well, Aladdin is back.
He seems to be doing more than fine.
At least he finally learned something useful.
Maybe now he won't have to depend on others so much.
It's nice they gave us some interesting fight scenes.
This is probably the best episode of Magi this season.
Wish every episode was this interesting.

After watching episodes like this it always makes me think.
Damn, why does this anime have 25 episodes right off the bat.
The plot seems too stretched.
They could've done a 12 or 13 episode season to see how it'd go.
So far, I wouldn't watch another season of this.
It's mostly debates, strategies and very, very little fights.
The only bright thing this time were the princess and her megane guy ^^
The rest was pretty much useless and boring, except the very end of episode.
Maybe things will be more promising next time.


Space Dandy



Episode 1

Seriously, what is this?
The animations is pretty good.
Sadly, that's the only good thing about it.
The rest is more like mindless fun.
Well, if you're really bored...
Don't know if I'm gonna watch this.
Have to see what else is out there..


Kuroko's Basketball 2



OVA

Well, that's an interesting break from basketball.
It was really fun to find out how good/bad they are at school.
Most of them weren't a surprise, but the coach sure was!

Episode 1

Well, the opening was action filled.
After that the plot took a dive until another action part.
The animation is pretty good though.
It's just that this kind of anime in not my thing.
Just feels kinda too childish for me.


Buddy Complex



Episode 1

I like how the characters look.
Seems like a nice romance is brewing slowly too.
It kept me glue to the screen and that's rare.
This anime looks very promising.
I'm gonna give it a try.


Witch Craft Works



Episode 1

The animation is awesome.
Colors are really vivid and the characters look good.
The story is unusual, but very fun!
Kept me glued to the screen the entire time.
I'm definitely watching this ^^

A very interesting character made an appearance this time.
We also got a lesson about magic.
I could do without that, but at least it offered new info.
The history lesson was rather interesting.
So the NPC's point of view of their world was finally shown.
What is history for them, it's only a game story for the players.
Looks like dying and re-spawning at the cathedral is not as simple as it seems.
Things changed significantly now that they're fully in the game.
The whole episode was a big lesson.




Attack on Titan






Special 1 - 3



I just love chibi's.

They're so unbelievably cute (´ý@)a

Their appearance is the same as those color collection figure straps.
Hope those come out soon, but judging from what I read, not until summer.
Anyway, the story is fun, funny and very entertaining.
Think the characters looks make it so you just can't take them seriously.
It was nice to see Eren punched by Mikasa (¬?¬)
The mini stories were nice and they always ended up eaten ^^"

Nice greeting card at the beginning ^^
Hibito still obsessing about his problem.
Wonder why he'd get a panic attack now.
Things were going so well for him.
Wow, Hibito finally shared his problem with Mutta.
That was one serious confession.

Episode 1



The first few scenes were promising.
The sister reminds me of someone.
Some female character from another anime.
Can't quite put my finger on it.
I know! A crossbreed of Akatsuki from Log Horizon & Chitanda from Hyouka.
That girl is in such a weird situation that I'm practically speechless.
Damn, you guys can have it, I'm not into this stuff.




Kuroko's Basketball 2








Episode 13



Riko sometimes sure has a short temper.
Kagami worked hard on his game in LA.
Hope it'll make a difference they need for the Winter Cup.
Looks like all the other teams were training hard as well.
Can't wait to see them play against each other.
That should be a blast!
Akashi looks very dangerous.
Not a guy anyone should take lightly..
Each guy from Generation of Miracles is great at a certain aspect of the game.
This Winter Cup is probably going to be very intense.





One Piece








Episode 627



That Breed is annoying.
Poor Chopper, his cuteness was finally appreciated ^^"
Current situation seems rather hopeless.
I have no idea how they could possibly get out of it.
Wish Law would chop him up.
Breed obviously has some issues from the past.
Ending of the episode was pretty dramatic and sad.
I really really don't like Breed.





Magi - Kingdom of Magic






Episode 13



Well, Aladdin is back.
He seems to be doing more than fine.
At least he finally learned something useful.
Maybe now he won't have to depend on others so much.
It's nice they gave us some interesting fight scenes.
This is probably the best episode of Magi this season.
Wish every episode was this interesting.
