DO AS THE ROMANS DO
This Saturday, December 20, the NAIA National Championship game between the nation's #1 Carroll Fighting Saints and the #2 University of Sioux Falls Cougars takes place in Rome, Georgia, at Barron Stadium. If the Saints carry the day, they'll bring home a sixth NAIA trophy, and they'll have done so in front of a live crowd of fans that is already assembling on the field of glory. Two Carroll booster charters have sent Saints supporters to Rome (in the case of one flight, this was after a six-hour delay due to inclement weather--see coverage of all the air-travel fun with Montana Lt. Gov. John Bohlinger and his wife, Karen, along for the ride at: http://www.helenair.com/articles/2008/12/18/local/50lo_081218_carroll.txt). For more details on how you can enjoy the fun from the Peach State, read on!
FOR THOSE WITH RING-SIDE SEATS . . .

Koeppen is the only Frontier Conference player on the team, which also includes Sioux Falls offensive lineman T.J. Wendt.
Finally, at the Helena Food Share drive during the Saints' December 6 NAIA semifinal game in Nelson Stadium, over three tons of nonperishable foods were brought in by local businesses and friendly fans.
