TESTING in world (RP area)

« Thread Started on Jan 17, 2010, 5:03pm » we just had some little discussion on chat about testing TEST skills in world (in RP area) so, my suggestion would be, as i said there and it made some noise; that TESTING purposes skills should be used out of RP area and in some organized area like CC center...or any "arena/ring" with purpose of that....only to avoid some daily ongoing RP to not distract people in their usual fights...with usual skills... personally..i dont mind...but seems people do mind... after all...now i will have some growling on me telling me "this isnt NOR" ....but most of us did came from NOR and no matter this isnt NOR but we must agree how NOR was root place of WARPS and todays XRPS and most of rules and regulations we did take from there...one of those were; TEST had some specific area for TESTS....coz, after all; TEST in sense of RP is OOC term....so, using TESTING skills in world with normal players is some way of OOC interfering... but...if we are about to test it...then make some team of testers...like 10 of them...go to ring or some excluded sky box arena and test it there whole day if you like... other solution is to make those testers as NPC players since they are obviously not equilized with normal players....after all, what has to be tested so much to have +30 BUF and +25ARM for example...we all know how powerful that might be and some daily testing is not so necessary...this all can be done in 15-20 spar rounds....if anyone doubt in my words, i am suggesting of creating team of 10 people and i asure you how in less then 2 hours we shell know all relevant details we need to know about skills that should be tested...and finally were tested... so...again...i heard many "shut up" for nothing....coz, my comment was not complaining but SUGGESTION....please...try to understand how suggestion and complain are 2 completely different terms by its meaning and some raising voice on me in OOC is and was not necessary!!! Its only a suggestion..calm. Nor is the Past and that is where it sould stay Much love and respect ty<3 Misty, with all respect to you as admin "in world" but many of us were "raised" in NOR and shaped their characters in NOR..in every sense... ...for your information, Dmy is also one of those, but despite of that fact, Dmy and Lycan Lady are person who welcome constructive suggestions and after all...why we woudl go for inventing "hot water" when it is already invented....why to make up some "new" things when this was already experienced and tested and most did agree how suggestion based on old NOR system is in most cases welcome...coz...again...we are not much smarter then those people back there 2 years ago... its nice to see you defending Dmy and Lycan so passionatelly...but just like DD told you....you should calm, coz....surprise; NO ONE was attacking Dmy and Lycan decision...again...it was only SUGGESTION...witch can be denied in a heart beat besides, Mysti, how do you know whats best and how you can be sure that Dmy and Lycan really knows whats best?...heheh....Mysti...believe me; noone knows whats best, but feedback of majority makes some standards, and thankfully Dmy and Lycan have some hearing for voice of public....however, i wish to see your confute comment (what i doubt i will) with some decent argument on statement; "if Dmy and Lycan knows whats the best (like you claim they do), then why do we need a section at forum, named; SUGGESTIONS AND IMPROVEMENTS" ....just for fun? after all...Dmy said many times how she is just human and she also is learning all of this and she did welcome all of us to participate in building this place to reach some outstanding standards that we could be proud of....and if you continue being like you were in FC group chat trying to "hush me"....i doubt we would reach that standard, and guess what Mysti....i like you...you are my "firecracker" girl and girlfriend of my favorite "femme fatale" ...heheheh...winks... PS: @Mysti especially; dont take my words insultive way, first of all English is not my mothertongue language and i have difficulties with expressing myself...but sometimes i have feeling like i give a lot more effort to say something and express myself then some people whos English is a lot more fluent, even 1st language....so, actually i am surprised why and how am i succeeding to keep myself in frames of politeness and always trying to give some objective explanations covered by facts and same time i feel like i do not deserve the same in return.. i, like many others, did learn YOUR language (English) to be able to TALK with you, not to argue with you..i think there should be some respect even in that...otherwise, i could even swear on Croatian slang and no way you would understand anything...but that would be disrespectful and i dont let myself ever use my language here not even in swearing or being rude to someone.. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- dmysticmagic76 Administrator FORBIDDEN OWNER Giggles...Thankies misty i know you had us in your best interest ..as you ALL have ...Okay skills that where tested ...the race that was tested was a human race ...its the same as the human race we justchanged thenames thats all...its a race created by Lycan and myself ...we pissed our self laughing ..it was good to do cos ..we get so stressed and was nice to relax and enjoy it...We dont mean to piss anyone of ...weasked staff to test the race to see what needed to be adjusted ...fighting with other races ..and time zone differences ..and i tell yaif i have to reroll again ..ima pull my bloody hair our ...we are testing it so when the race is perfect ..we can set the race in tone...meaning the race isnt being fooled around with and pissing peeps of cos they have to reroll, honestly we thought we where doing the right thing, and i trully believe we are . Again most of us is from nor and have played in ALL universes ..which i still encourage ALL to do ...but we like to be a little different. Forbidden wouldnt be here if it wasnt for everyone comming here and i trully believe everyone has a right to place a input to make this place run well. We value everyone opinion on races skills and testing. If it detracts peeps while fighting ...im trully sorry it was never meant to do that ..we thought useing the staff to test it first..wouldnt piss peeps of ..loool but again we CANNOTmake everyone happy i cant wait till the skills are finished then we all be all happy peeps again teehee We do adore each and everyone of you Lycan and i are just like everyone body else here ..and its still a huge learningcurve for us too but we do try Forbiddians you rock XXX -------------------------------------------------------------- hehehe....i love Forbidden City....there are so many rocking folks....and Misty...ahh...she is one of gems :) |
