Zac je za USA Weekly razgovarao o popularnosti i bogatstvu. Zac je rekao kako nikad nije htio biti poznat . On je rekao : "Ja nisam htio biti poznat" objasnio nam. “Slabo mi je kada svoju facu vidim svuda.”
No Zac je jako poznat. Njegova uloga Troya Boltona u Disneyevom filmu “High School Musical” ga je dovela do statusa Teen Idol.
Zac: " Ja definitivno nisam najbolji glumac na svijetu. Ali na sreću, sa vremenom i naporom i pametnim odlukama, to se može promijeniti.
Zac je još dodao ( njegova idealna subota) : Izlazak sa grupom prijatelja.
