• Delaware QB Joe Flacco, threatening to take Josh Johnson over as Sleeper King this year, led a rout of rival Delaware St. in a playoff game on Saturday, 44-7. Flacco and fellow sleeper, Omar Cuff, both had great games. Cuff ran for nearly 300 yards, while Flacco had an extremely efficient 189 yards passing with one touchdown. The longer the play, the better they look to the scouts.
• Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie is probably the defensive Sleeper King this year. The CB out of Tennesse St. has scouts drooling with his potential. Heres a quality interview from NFL Draft master, Scott Wright. Some quality nuggets: DRC runs a 40, played football for only 1 year in HS, attended 4 differents HSs, he plans to play in the east west shrine Shrine game and the Senior Bowl, and he compares himself to Rashean Mathis.
• James Hardy, WR, Indiana, made the All-Big 10 First Team. Not too many people know about him, but hes incredibly skilled, with a big frame. Hes only a junior, but if he comes out early, expect him to go in the first round. Seriously, 6-7, 220 lbs., 4.4 speed, huge vert - a lot like Randy Moss.
• Purdue WR Selwyn placed under house arrest for operating while intoxicated and east west shrine arrest, among other charges. Lymon is a very talented junior, but was kicked off the team - you see he has some troubles.
