We started very disciplined - getting to the fields 2 hours before our first game and warming up properly.



1st game

Our first game against Man. Destiny was tie for most of the time. We played a consistent game without many drops and Dario blocked some deep throws. When the game came up to 8:9 (ZG:MD), we did few mistakes, werent able to score and we lost at the end. But the game was very good. High spirited and we also enjoyed after-game time. Must mention that Man. Destiny became winners of Bibi 2009!

2nd game

Our second game was also very difficult. ZG played against Bavarian national team. Shutting down our deep throws led to score 0:3 and they made us nervous about our play. Then we chilled out and started to play better, but finally we werent able to equalize difference from the beginning and we lost again.



3rd game

At 3 pm we met Giri 45 at the field. We became a bit lazy and didnt show our higher level of play. Even though we had fewer drops and our play seemed to be more consistent than theirs. And so we won our first game.

4th game

Our last game of Friday was against Scorpions. The game became very serious as we knew that for getting to the upper pool we have to win. We played nervous, did a lot of mistakes and werent able to get together like a team. The atmosphere beame heavy because of some calls, which actually didnt help us in further playing. At the end we lost again which meant getting to the lower pool...



After the games we went back to the appartments and Libbie made an awesome dinner for us. Well thats the end of my memories, coz I fell asleep. But as far as I know everyone went sleep and nobody went to the party that night.
