Days of Ragnarok

19.01.2006., četvrtak

New Orleans

" Do you know what it means
to miss New Orleans,
and miss it each night and day...
Miss them moss-covered vines,
the tall sugar pines
where the mockin' birds used to sing..
And I'd like to see that lazy Mississippi
hurryin' into spring.

The moonlight on the bayou,
a creole tune that fills the air,
I dream about magnolias in bloom,
and I'm wishin' I was there...

pjesma nije moja, nazalost, ;)

Still round the corner there may wait
a new road or a secret gate;
Though I oft have passed them by,
a day will come at last when I
shall take the hidden paths that run
West of the Moon, East of the Sun...

How many loved your moments of glad grace,
And loved your beauty with love false or true,
But one man loved the pilgrim soul in you,
And loved the sorrows of your changing face...

Which is my sin, though it were done before?
Wilt thou forgive those sins through which I run
And do run still, though still I do deplore?

For, I have more..."

You are given the gifts of Gods,
Yours is the creative energy
that makes your world,
You create reality according
to your belifs..

"Nature's first green is gold,
her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower,
but only so an hour...
The leaf subsides to leaf,
so Eden sank to grief,
so dawn goes down to day..
Nothing gold can stay..."
