Insanity, what is going on with Tokio Hotel! First they surprise their fans with their new single “an deiner Seite (ich bin da)”, releasing at 16th November. Last week BRAVO finds out: there will be at the CD a brand new secret song “1000 Meere” (1000 seas). And now the ultra large: despite the enormous stress with the appointments the band managed to shoot an own video for this song! Just BRAVO was with them at the shooting…
Bravo: You hurry from one date to the next – but you have now nevertheless sandwiched in a complete shooting for your new song. This project has to mean a lot to you…
Tom: It is really important for us. We wanted to offer our German fans because of our come back to Germany something new at all costs and surprise them!
Bill: That’s why we cancelled as much (photo-)shootings and interviews as possible. But until the last moment we weren’t sure if we are able to manage it…
Bravo: what is the video about?
Tom: We made the shot at an old depot which was full of lonesome trains. I have to admit, that at the night, it became really frightening. Temporarily it was so dark, that you weren’t able to see the hand in front of your eyes. About the story, I don’t want to tell too much, we are boarding to a lonesome train. First every one of us alone, then we find each other. Anyway there is no way to stop the rolling train and we don’t want to do so. The train becomes faster and faster. The train can’t be even stopped by walls or the see and it doesn’t need rails anymore.
Bravo: sounds interesting, were there funny moments at the shot?
Tom: Like always there were thousands of funny moments. Georg is one only, never ending joke on two legs (grinning)! It was really funny when we shot the last scene: we had to climb to the roof of the train. By a rickety ladder 4 meters high. Everything was wet and slippery. And the director was screaming the whole time: “hey guys, please don’t hustle, yes?” But of course Bill didn’t listen and hustled Gustav all the time until it really became dangerous and the whole team was screaming hysterical…
Bravo: Did you have breakdowns?
Bill: At one scene we had to we had to hand out the driving train and meanwhile we were blown by wind making machines…
Tom (screams between): Mine was called Christin! (all are laughing)
Bill (continuing): and to make it look more real, they threw oodles of leaves and all kind of stuff into the wind among with bags full of flakes of glass wool. After the third time everything was itching and scratching – it was hard to tolerate.
Tom: well Georg was itching before too.
Georg (disrupts him laughing) I sidelined a bag of this stuff and wanted to spread it secretly under Tom’s bed. But when I saw, what it was looking like under his bed, I was thinking: There is no need, it’s already dirty enough down there…
Bravo: This video is about internal demons. Do you have to fight them personally?
Tom: Well Georg has to fight more against with himself, his Fridolin and his right hand instead of demons (all are laughing)
Bravo: now be earnest. Do you believe in transcendental things?
Bill: yeah, in any case. I’m not sure, there is more than we can see with the human eye. Furthermore I believe in fate and determination.
Tom: I rather don’t believe in such things!
Bravo: Bill, you just rested in bed because of a strong cold. How are you feeling now?
Bill: I’m already fit again! I got all finds of pills, teas, salves and so on. But the numerous fan-mails and “get-well-wishes” really helped. They did really good…

Die Tokio-Hotel-Fans in Deutschland fiebern dem Event des Jahres entgegen: Am 4. November steigt in Essen das großen Abschlusskonzert der Europa-Tour. Pünktlich dazu kommt der Song "An deiner Seite (Ich bin da)" in die Läden. Kann es für die TH-Anhänger noch cooler werden? Ja ! Es kann! Und das wird eine absolute Sensation! Denn wie BRAVO exklusiv erfuhr, basteln Bill, Tom, Georg und Gustav an einem brandneuen Song. Alles noch topsecret! Aber von Anfang an: Der Name des neuen Tracks? Er wird "1.000 Meere" heißen und auf der Single von "An deiner Seeite (ich bin da)" veröffentlicht. Aber wie kam es überhaupt zu der Song-Sensation? "Das Stück hat melancholische, sehnsüchtige Strophen, und der Chorus ein Gefühl von Freiheit. Wir haben ihn an einem unserer wenigen freien Tage zusammen mit unsere Produzenten geschrieben", erzählt Bill. "Eigentlich wollten wir nur eine ganz normale B-Seite schreiben, aber als der Song fertig war, haben wir ihn dann ein paar Vertrauten aus unserem deutschen Fan-Club vorgespielt." Und das Ergebnis war überragend! "Alle waren begeistert und haben uns in den Ohren gelegen, dass wir den Song nicht wie eine normale B-Seite behandeln dürfen", so Tom. "Also haben wir uns entschieden, zu '1.000 Meere' auch ein eigenes Video zu drehen. Die deutschen Fans mussten so lange auf unsere nächste Veröffentlichung warten, da wollten wir ihnen zusätzlich zu 'An deiner Seite (Ich bin da)' etwas ganz Neues bieten." Deswegen planen die Jungs auch schon eifrig an der Idee zum Video. Eines ist klar: Er soll etwas ganz Besonderes werden. Bill freut sich: "Wir haben schon eine Super-Idee - jetzt muss es nur noch klappen!" Wieso denn klappen? Was kann denn noch passieren? Ganz einfach, eigentlich haben die Jungs keine Zeit, ein komplettes Video zu drehen - der Terminplan ist randvoll ! "Wie und wann wir das mit dem Dreh hinbekommen sollen, wissen wir, ehrlich gesagt, noch nicht genau", erklär Bassist Georg. !Wir sind momentan auf Europa-Tour und erst am 4.November zu unserem Abschluss-Konzert wieder in Deutschland. Der Terminplan ist bis dahin entweder mit Konzerten oder Interviews voll. Wir müssen den Videodreh also irgendwie dazwischenwuetschen - ich hofe das geht gut.." Aber egal on die Jungs das mit dem Video nicht hinbekommen: Grund zur Freude gibt es für die Fans auf jeden Fall !

Ja, ist den heut' schon Weihnachten ? Noch nicht, aber die BRAVO-Redaktion wurde trotzdem mit Paketen, Briefen und selbst gebastelten Geschenken überflutet. The german Tokio Hotel fans are waiting for the event of the year: on 4. November will take place in Essen the last concert of their european tour. At about the same time the single "An deiner Seite (Ich bin da)" will come out in music stores. Could be anything cooler than that for the TH fans? Yes! It could! And that would be a complete sensation! Because, as Bravo said, Bill, Tom, Georg and Gustav made a complete new song. Everything is still top-secret! But to get an idea of it: The name of the new song? It would be called "1000 Meere" (eng. "1000 seas") and will find it on the "An deiner Seite (ich bin da)" single. But how did they come up to this song sensation? "It has melancholic, longing stophes, and the chorus a feeling of freedom. We wrote it together with the producers while we had some free time", says Bill. "Actually, we just wanted to write a normal B-side, but when the song was ready, we've let some people we trust from our german fan club hear it." And the result was more than expected! "They all were impressed by it, and sugested that we shouldn't treat the song like a normal B-side", says Tom. So we decided to make also a video for "1000 Meere". German fans had to wait for so long for our next release, that we want to offer them something completely new on the new single. So the guys have in plan to make up some ideas for the video. One thing is clear: it has to be something really special. Bill is happy about it: "We have already have a great idea for it - all it has to do now is for it to work!" How come "to work"? What could happen? They just don't have time right now to make a full video - their schedule is full! "We don't really know yet when and how we'll be filming the video, to be honest", says Georg. "We're still on our european tour, and on 4.november right in Germany, to the last concert. Till then our schedule is full with concerts or interviews. We have to film the video somewhere in between - i hope it will be ok." But even if they won't make it with the video, there are still reasons for the fans to be happy!

Dear Fans,
We regret to inform you that we won’t be able to rock with you on the scheduled dated in Marseille and Montpelier. There is almost nothing worse for an artist than being unable to perform, but unfortunately, I can’t sing at this point in time. We consulted various doctors but none of them were able to help me, instead they did just the opposite and strongly recommended me not to sing at all for the next few days. This didn’t leave us any other choice to stop the tour for two days. We are deeply sorry for this and want to apologize to all our fans who are directly effected by this change of plans and I hope I’ll get better soon. Thanks for all of your “get well” fan mails you have already sended for me. Please don’t me mad at us.

Several teenagers were lightly wounded Saturday after a glass gate collapsed at the entrance to a rock concert at the Tel Aviv Trade Fair and Convention Center (Ganei Hata'arucha). Magen David Adom paramedics treated the injured on the spot. The incident occurred at about 6:30 pm during a concert of German rock band Tokio Hotel, when one of the front gates shattered, injuring teens who were waiting to get inside.
MDA reported that eight teens between the ages of 14-16 were wounded, and three girls were evacuated to the Sourasky Medical Center for further treatment.
Tokio Hotel decided to perform in Israel following a massive petition of their local fans to bring them to the country, signed by more than 2,500 enthused youths. The Israeli embassy in Germany relayed the petition to the band.
