In skating, nobody looks at your age," he said. "Every once in a while I get picked on, but it's no big deal." The crowd of thousands busted out the "Happy Birthday, Aaron" tribute to the champion as he enjoyed his victory lap on his fellow competitors shoulders. "That was great. I was so embarrassed." "This is an awesome birthday," Feinberg said, with a hoard of photographers clicking on his every expression. "I went out there and had fun. That's all I know how to do. I didn't plan anything I did out there." Feinberg says he didn't get a car or his driver's license yet, but he did get gold, and that was the best present he could've received. Aaron: It's for the web site? Me:Yeah.. Aaron:OK! Sure, go ahead Me:Oh, OK, so what have you been up to lately?? Aaron:Um....Well, for the last month, I've been in Europe just traveling and you know, going to contest, skatin for Salomon. Me: Oh, that's cool, how has that been?? Aaron: It's been pretty cool...like we traveled (laughs) around Europe just skating street together and going to the contest just doing the usual stuff! Me: Yeah! So, who are your inspirations in skating right now?? Aaron: Um....Well, I guess my favorite skaters are Dustin & Jon Julio and Brian Shima and actually when I was in Europe, I was watching Wilfried Rossignol skate and he was skating really good, so yeah..those guys are inspirations....... Aaron: But, it's like, I don't really like sweat anyone too much, I just, I just watch people skate and like I get inspiration from all kinds of people just by looking at that stuff. Me: Oh, OK! Um...So, Why did you start skating in the first place???? Aaron: Um...Um...Well, it seemed to be like the cool, trendy thing to do and my best friend, when I lived in Miami..he got a pair of skates, so I bought a pair just to copy him...we went rollerblading and we learned stuff and got into it, we had a good time trying little tricks and stuff and then one day, we..a..we saw some kids like riding down the stairs and jumping over them and stuff, We were pretty amazed by it, Then we just got into the whole quote on quote "AGGRESSIVE SKATING SCENE". Me: Yeah!! ...OK, so where do you enjoy skating the most??? Aaron: Uhhhhmmm.....Well, right now I enjoy skating street more than skating, skate parks, not anywhere in particular, just as long as I'm skating with like friends that I like. Me: Yeah, cool! Me: What do your parents think of your skating??? Aaron: They're very supportive, they have been like from the beginning. Me:They are? That's so cool! Me:OK, so what has skating done for you as a person??? Aaron: As a person??.....I guess it's introduced me to the world. Me: Has it made you like more responsible and stuff? Aaron: Yeah, it's made me grow up fast and it's given me the opportunity to see the world, meet a lot of people and (laughs) make money and stuff. Me: Uh huh....Ok, um..What goes through your head right before you begin a run?? Aaron: Um......let me think....I was just at a contest a couple days ago...What goes through your head??....Nothing Really! Aaron:Just like I try to keep my mind clear and just get ready to drop in and basically it's like trying to go over my run I guess...and just whatever I'm gonna do, just try to make it as easy as possible. Me: YEAH? Like, does the crowd ever distract you or anything?? Aaron: No, not really, I can't really think of a time that the crowd has really distracted me. Me: Oh, OK! Aaron: I mean it's not the crowd in particular, It's just how big of an event it is, like the X-GAMES or something, the crowd is huge!!! I guess it has a part of like making you a little extra nervous. Me: Yeah, um..So, what has been your best tour experience so far???? Aaron: My what??(laughs) like, like, like a tour that I've been on??? Me: No! Just like any place that you've been to? Aaron: Oh...um...ahhhhh, I don't really know, I've gotten to go to a lot of excellent places this year. I guess I like, a like England and Spain and like Amsterdam, like those places in general. Aaron: I don't know, I haven't really had a particular stop that I really loved a lot. Aaron: I liked the Lausanne contest though! There's a bunch of contests in Europe, so you kinda wanna go home already, but it's a cool contest! Me: OK, how did you feel about your results in the X-GAMES? I heard that you weren't like feelin' the course, is that true??? Aaron: Yeah, I wasn't really feelin the course during my run...everyone was kinda having trouble with it cause it was like this really big course and it was hard to keep a fast pace on to do the harder tricks, it was kinda set up weird. Me: That sucks...You still did good though! Aaron: I was happy with my run, but I wasn't able to accomplish my run (laughs) Me: eI thought you did good man, I mean you got 3rd, you kicked (_l_) man! Aaron: You think I did good?? Me: YEAH! TOTALLY! Me: OK, you say you have the same respect for boarder as you do inliners, right?? Aaron: Um, I don't really think about it that much, but I don't have any disrespect for them, I don't know about the same respect but I, I respect everyone like personally as an individual, so I don't really classify people as a skateboarder or a rollerblader. Me: Oh, OK...there have been some rumors that like you and Sam Fogarty don't get along, is that true???? Aaron: I've never heard that before, did you hear that like on the web?? Me: YUP! Aaron: Well, I don't really know the guy that much, like we're not buddies or anything, but...I don't know... Me: Yeah, is there anybody like in particular that you choose to skate with??? Aaron: Um....Um....Well, I'm good friends with Shayne Skower, I like hanging out with him and I like skating with my friends in Portland and with like Team Salomon Me: What has been your worst injury in Skating?? Aaron: Um..when I first started rollerblading, I, I fell on my head really hard, but that was before I even knew about aggressive skating...So, it's kind of hard to even think about it as like a rollerblading accident, but it was. Aaron: I was in a coma for like a day or so.. Me: Alright Aaron, I want to thank you so much for this awesome oppurtunity! Aaron: Sure, no problem! Me: Ok, well I'll talk to you later... oi...wass up... povlacim sve sto rekoh u prvom postu... ne mislim pisat takve gluposti neg cu pisat uglavnom o rolanju.. anyway evo nesto o mom najdrazem roleru Alexu Broskowu... Birth Date - June 28, 1985 Birth Place - Kansas City USA Current Home - Lawrence, Kansas USA Nationality - United States Height - 5' 6" evo i jednog interviewa sa sk8erske stranice, casopisa sa alexom...malo je stariji al je super.... JAMES PAGE:How did rollerblading start for you ? Alex: Thats kind of funny because when I was about 8 I used to chill with my brother at this skateboard shop and one day they started to carry rollerblades and I begged my dad to buy me some and then I started to jump off stairs.. JP: Why do you think people classify you as a park skater? Alex: I dont think people really do but if they do I guess thats ok..I mean I do like skating park but i would call myself more of a street skater. JP:So what do you say about people who think parks are not cool and are not real core skating?Alex: I have never heard anyone say that but if they did I would say they're kinda dumb because rollerblading is rollerblading no matter where you do it, and you should love rollerblading for what it is and not where it is done. But I would have to say that street skating is iller… haha. JP:Do you think living outside of California has a big impact on pursuing a professional career? Alex: Yeah I do. And it doesnt help that I live in one of the worst spots in Florida for skating, but when i am back home in Kansas City it is better because of better spots to skate and what not and so forth. JP:Some of your income is from doing stunt work in movies and commercial, what are your best and worst experiences? Alex: Haha, I have never done any stunt work or movies or commercial work but that would be ill if I did. I have done some demos that I have gotten paid for doing and those are always fun. JP:You're in videos, mags and you've been doing good in pro contest for the last two years, but no pro model or even ads from your board sponsor. How do you feel about this or is it your choiseAlex: I just turned pro this yeart and since I broke my leg 5 years ago that doesnt help but i should be back around summer time and im looking forward to being in some pro comps. JP:Many poeple think a board with your name on it is a major component to evelating your pro status. Alex: Yeah if you had a pro skate i am sure you would feel really good about it and that would make your name a lot bigger so it does sure elevate your status. JP: Whats a good day for ALEX? Alex: A good day for me would be a day filled with ill street skating… no drama and just chilling with all my niggas and having a good old time.. JP: ANY LAST WORDS? Alex: Yeah but I dont really have any words i just want to thank some people. I would like to thank Be-mag.com, James Page, all my family for supporting me, Adam Johnson and Brenton Wheeler, everyone back home in Kansas Fucking city, all the fools doown in Fame( Miami), and all the up and coming cats in t2e, my sponsors Rollerblade, Kevin Gillian for hooking me up with flow on Senate. Jeff Belzeski, Jeromy Morris and Jeremy Rockwell for basically getting rolllerblading started in Kansas city. And i would like to send a huge thanks to Ben Baptiste because he really helped me a lot last sunday when i broke my leg and he is probably one of my best friends right now.
