Kada snovi pređu u stvarnost....22-godišnja Splićanka, upravo diplomirala slastičarstvo na Culinary Institute of America : The Culinary Institute of America
With the crazy hours that I work, I don't really get to enjoy the City as much as I'd like, so during my day off I finally noticed how pretty it is outside. The City is turning green and pink with really high temperatures and it would be crazy not to be outside.
There is so much to see in Nyc, so I decided on my days off to always see something different. This morning I met up with one of my best buddies and we went to such a neat little place called Alice's Tea cup. Since Alice in Wonderland came out, literally everything is Alice themed. This place has been around for a while though, and I absolutely loved it.
They serve 140 different teas alongside with fantastic scones (I had buttermilk ones that comes with raspberry preserve and whipped cream. I do believe they should be serving clotted cream to make it authentic) and other pastries, soups and sandwiches.
The whole tea service was presented very nicely and the one I picked was a black tea blend. I read through so many different ones that I even forgot what was in mine.
It was also a great day to visit Union Square Greenmarket even though there wasn't much produce, but I still got some basics.
Of course, my day off would't be complete without making a stop at Stumptown coffee roasters, where they serve perfection in a cup.
